I hadn't heard this song in forever.� Hearing it, I suddenly had the taste of peanut butter in my mouth.� My brain totally made the decades-old
connection between watching this show, and eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in front of the
television.

I vaguely remember David the Gnome but had no recollection of the contributions of Tom Bosley, Christopher Plummer and the Weinstein Bros. that went into it
until seeing the credits now. And is David riding the eagle to Mt. Doom at the end of the clip? Smart man.

Nickelodeon had the best shows back in the day. I loved "Belle & Sebastian" and the "Mysterious Cities of Gold". Even that stupid
teen melodrama "Fifteen" I watched. And "Today's Special" with that mannequin that would come to life. I watched "David the
Gnome" too.
