Something they didn't have to emphasis on to show a critical physical disadvantage? That he didn't pull his weight and was considered to be voted out
and they simply showed it to make us known to that fact. Not to make Ozzy look good or share the blame so to speak. The guy can do no right, can he? Even
when he was trying to think for the best of his tribe and makes a strategical move he is bashed on.

Editing-wise, Ozzy deciding to throw a challenge was neutralized as much as possible, exactly to prevent Ozzy from being seen as a zero.On the contrary, I was one of several in edgic who saw Ozzy's ep.2 edit as evidence that he would lose to Yul at the end. They showed Ozzy pushing Billy into the water with glee, and never showed that the Ozzy biggest motive was that he saw Billy as untrustworthy rather than just lazy. Gamewise, the move led to Yul finding the idol (sent by Billy) and no Hispanics being on the jury to vote for Ozzy. |

I consider Ozzy story as starting in Cooks ep.2 - in ep.1 he was set up as a great survivalist and a player who would go far, but no real personal interaction.
I know some Hispanic fans on the baod never forgave Ozzy for the Billy boot. I found Ozzy pre-munity edit very annoying - he was set as Superman, a player who
would do great things. but wasn't doing enough to justify the edit.

I just rewatched All Stars and went through practically every anti Rob article and still don't understand the hatred this guy gets. Hes arrogant,SO FUCKING

I'm not one of those people who change the facts to support my opinions Panurge.
When I called him a jerk, I was refering to what others think of him, not me. Sure,he has his moments, but practically everyone at one time or another has been rude,vulgar, condescending or what have you. Anyway, I wasn't debating his strategical skills, but I have criticized it in the past(I believe that he could of won over the jury had he not been such a wimp about it. Aggressive debating and sympathetic words can do wonders). My rant in the post below yours was about how people percieve the game. Lex is an OTT twatwaffle, so is Alicia,Kathy, Tom and others. Many people though, sympasize with their thought process. I'm not going to make a chart or an article that empirical evidence that playing Survivor without any limits is the correct way(barring physical damage), but I'm completly open to a dialogue.Go ahead and play Socrates, I'll have an answer for every rebuttal you make |

Micronesia-What I think people would think if this was their first season
Fairplay - He would probably be immensely hated here for quitting on the third day. Yau-Man - He would be liked for the first episodes and than be forgotten Jonathan - He would be okay. He definitely wouldn't have as big of a following Ami - Super boring! Eliza - I think she would be liked for her comments and reactions and her underdog status. Ozzy - I hated him a LOT more this time. So I think that would be the consensus. James - I think he would get the same reaction as in China. Cirie - Probably the same. Would have lovers and haters. Amanda - She would start off not liked but end up being liked. Parvati - She got a totally different edit than Cook Islands. I think she would get a Jenna M feel |

Is there anyone who has truly surprised you the 2nd tinme around?
I read bios and take editing apart in edgic, and that is pretty rare. I was impressed that Rob M became a challeneg dominator, that Ozzy lost so many in a row, and that Parvati became such a brilliant and agressive strategic player. But the seeds of eevrything likeable or hatable in Steph, Ozzy, etc are in both their seasons. I don't see why people had to watch Jenna M deal with the death of her mom to appreicate her. |

^Ozzy was an arrogant fool in CI as well, expecting Candice and Jonathan to stick with them even when they thought they were at a disadvantage, and not going
with Adams deal under "ethical reasons". Despite this, I still like him. Hes arrogant, but look at him at the Micronesia reunion, he put it in
context.Hes no Twatwaffle.
I wasn't too fond of Stephenie either time she appeared. I hated how she claimed to be more deserving than Janu "just because I'm more competitive and a better athlete" or something like that. I hate people who do that, because Survivor can be about anything you want, not what Stephenie says it is. She furthur showed this in Guatemala, which was refreshing and enjoyable actually. Steph isn't some vapid princessand pseudo athlete , well she is,but she has more depth then that. I wish Survivor would edit everyone like this,showing the positives and the negetives. |

I like Gualemala Steph more too. She was more complex.
But if Survivor is anything goes, surely it is justifiable to use notions of morality and deservingness to mindfuck other players. |

Just watched 13 episodes of the original All-Stars and I'm really disgusted. Even fucking Thailand was easier to watch. Damn it. Hated that Chapera kept
winning the challenges and their ever-increasing cockiness as a tribe. Then things only got worse when the merge arrived.
The whole Romber thing and the stupid original Chapera people not being willing to introduce a powershift when Kathy & Shii Ann were the last Mogo-Mogos left was really the most frustrating thing ever. Romber making it into the Final 2 in the near future and Jenna Lewis that bloody bitch being in the Final 3 makes it the worst Final 3 ever. If only AS could have a Final 4 of Richard, Rupert, Shi Ann and Kathy. Haha. That'd be paradise, for me at least. And to think... I was "Huh? Why's everyone hating Romber so much?" when I was watching The Amazing Race 7 and I felt that they were kinda okay. But now I realized that Amber was riding coattails the entire time and Rob Mariano is just a sickening fella. I mean, usually, I can appreciate the villains (Richard, Keith, Lex, Brian/Clay, Rob C, Jonny Fairplay...etc) but Mariano is just smug and annoying. Thank god they didn't win TAR7 and lost to a midget just 4 episodes into All-Stars of TAR.

Eh, I like Boston Rob. Hes more then just a stratagist,hes a masshole(at least in the game).He was mean, but is it not possible he was defending himself
against the odious Twatwaffle? He seems to be a nice guy outside the game though, that Yahoo thing a while ago where they called him "self righteous"
perplexed the hell out of me.

Actually, yes. But it was before All-Stars. That is the reason they had such a bad blowout on the show. Before All-Stars, they were pretty good friends. I
saw them together at the same fundraiser.
