If I change my package at all it will be very expensive because they've jacked up the prices since we first subscribed, it would be like an extra $30 a month to get 10 more channels. "Rabbit Ears" are about 20 bucks and pick up free HD channels, you'll only get like 4-8, but you'll get CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, PBS, so you'll be able to pick up Survivor and all the big network shows in HD. That way you wont have to pay an extra 30 bucks a month.

On Feb 19th all over the air broadcasts will be Digital, not necessarily HD. HD is the 16:9 format, A audio CD is digital so are MP3 and whatever Ipods files are, an album, cassette or 8 track (yes i'm that old) is analog. Just because on Feb 19th all broadcasts will be digital does not mean the will be 16:9 in HD. If you have cable or satallite you need to do noting you are fine. Only if you currently use rabbit ears or some other antenna do you need a converter box.
