Canceled NBC: 1 vs. 100, Amne$ia, Bionic Woman, Clash of the Choirs, Journeyman, Las Vegas, My Dad is Better Than Your Dad, Phenomenon, Quarterlife, The Singing Bee, Scrubs (moving to ABC) ABC: Men in Trees, Big Shots, Carpoolers, Cavemen, October Road, Women's Murder Club, Cashmere Mafia, Miss Guided, Notes from the Underbelly, Oprah's Big Give, Here Come the Newlyweds, Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann CBS: Moonlight, Shark, Jericho, Viva Laughlin, Welcome to the Captain, Secret Talents of the Stars, TBD The CW: Aliens in America, CW Now, Life is Wild, Online Nation, TBD Fox: Back to You, New Amsterdam, Nashville, Canterbury's Law, K-Ville, The Return of Jezebel James, TBD I kind of liked Miss Guided and Jezebel James. New Amsterdam was starting to grow on me. I thought Cashmere Mafia would have roped in the Desperate Houswives crowd.

Miss Guided, too, was funny, but it just seemed like ABC gave it the "oh yeah, here's this other show we had on the shelf" treatment. I know that Will is probably flailing about recklessly after hearing Moonlight is canceled. ETA: Also, Shark is canceled??? That's what happens when you move it away from Thursday nights, CBS.

Actually, I do have to admit I enjoyed the early episodes a lot more when I went back and watched them again. It just wasn't until the Dylan McQueen business that I thought the show really started to hit its stride, and 'They always need money' pretty much sealed it for me. I guess the music budget was ridiculously high because of all the period song rights, and if that was a factor in its renewal, they should've just dropped them. They weren't essential once the show really got into high gear. And as far as 'Shark', it's just fucking ridiculous overall that they got James Fucking Woods on network TV and stuck him in that uneven and mostly mediocre show. What a waste. It's just as well it's gone.
