I love how delusional Americans are about how the rest of the world feels about them. It bring the lulz big time.
Many of the Americans I deal with through my work are always suprised to hear how "backward" you are viewed and how many of the problems you face (terrorism etc) are brought on by your own views and actions. And it just seems so logical to foreigners that this is the case. |

This is Carlos from Spain in my first post in this Forum. I can't believe you have been writing here and for such a long time! I'm a real fan of this show even though it is not broadcasted in my country (the amazing world of the Internet makes it all possible) I've watched every single episode of the 16 seasons plus the editions in South Africa and Australia (I'msomeone called 'freak' in my country, I suppose in yours as well). Here, the 'Survivor' show has nothing to do with your show (it's people from home who vote via telephone and you can perfectly expect who will win the final price). Since this post is about you, I'll tell you that it is true that your editing in Vanuatu was much worse than the editing in Micronesia. Then, I didn't like you very much but in this season you became my absolute heroine of the story. I felt in love with you!!! You were so funny! And the line about 'the fucking stick' made me laugh for days even if I knew for sure that it would cost you the game the following week.. This season also made me change my mind about Amy (whom I hated with all my heart in Vanuatu but I wanted her to win in Micronesia). |

I think that all of you Brits forgot that the terrorists from the 05' attacks were homegrown, middle class, 18-20 year old's Muslims. Who were normal
until they started coming to extremest mosques and listen to sheiks that make the KKK look like pussies. Who were funded by the British government and after
the attacks they couldn't even deport them because of soft British immigration laws.
I'm not saying that Americans are perfect. They elected a president who because of a personal vendetta destabilized the entire middle east. That let Iran the freedom of not having to worry about Saddam and because of that to start a nuclear program which American will have to shut down forcibly in the near future. But all of you forget that America has been a target for Muslim extremists since the 70'. It's very convenient to blame big bad America in everything instead of trying to figure out how each one can try to improve their own life. |
