Jonny Fairplay..........what can I say about him??? Let's see...The first time we had a challenge against the favorites, JFP made a comment (purposely loud and for the cameras) directed specifically at me.

Jeff was talking about Yau getting the idol in the dash and smash with JFP, you know, how he felt about Yau getting it instead of him, and then he asked him how he felt about me getting the other one that he had grabbed and then Yau pointing it out to me. He looked over at me and said something to the effect of "Yeah, she's too stupid to have gotten it herself". I just leaned forward at looked at him too overwhelmed at everything to speak, but very hurt that he would make that comment without knowing anything about me or understanding the situation of me getting the idol (I explained that earlier in this thread somewhere).

Now, being back to 'my old self' again, the first thing out of my mouth would have been "But not so stupid that I have an idol and you don't, right?"

Everything happens so fast at first and is so surreal when you're out there that I just froze. (Of course, later in the game every minute feels like an hour).

But if JFP would have been on my tribe to begin with, I would have tried to avoid him like the plague. Even if it's just a "persona" he plays for the camera, I did not like him one bit.


By the way, we did have a Jonny on our tribe......His name was Jason.

I was called the first time I sent in a tape for Vanuatu. So it CAN happen. Don't give up.

When they first called me I thought it was my friend Karrie playing a joke on me and it took me like 2 minutes to believe that it was really Survivor calling.

Because things like that never happen to me.

I got to figure out how to put my first audition video on the computer................

Submitted tape on December 29th 2004 - deadline was January 14 2005

Looking at old paperwork, I got the letter that said I made the city interviews on February 18th 2005. The city interview was set for March 4th '05 and they booked a flight for me to LA for finals from April 13th to April 23rd.

I believe it was about 2 weeks after the Janury 14th deadline that they called. As I said before it was "just to make sure we got your address and phone and other info correct" (wink, wink). I do remember that day I was probably on my 12th cup of coffee and couldn't shut the hell up. I babbled about spending the morning with Juan Valdez and Mrs. Folgers or something and apologizing for talking so much but I couldn't help myself.

And as for being on a roll today, I feel bad I haven't been posting in awhile (some lurking tho) and my hubby is gone to Columbus OH overnight and Maddy is with Pops.
