As a woman, I can confirm that no self respecting woman, such as Erika SHAY, would ever consider something as basic as a broomstick handle being used on oneself to sway one's opinion on who gets on the show.

No I didn't. And my husband said it was really weird to know that I was leaving for so long and not knowing where in the world I would be. He had said to me "what if it's Palau, I just have a feeling it might be somewhere around there." My BF Karrie googled for spoilers survivor and called him after about 2 weeks and told him that it looks like it's Palau. He's been to Palau when he lived in Guam. So that was kinda weird. When I saw the airline tickets I wanted to call him and say "Wow, it IS Palau!!" I was just happy to have a layover in Guam because I have always said that I would love to go back to Guam someday, and sure enough, I got to and Mark Burnett paid for it.

And personally, I think it's better not to know where you're going. If I got on Gabon, and had time to look it up and research it, I might go into the game scared shitless of surfing hippos and horny gorillas. But on the other hand, I love knowledge and soaking up everything I could find about Gabon could be a lot of help too. Food sources, environment, what clothes to send in etc. I hear the bugs are horrible there so I would have sent in a scuba suit as my swim suit. So, no I would rather quit in Palau. Better government and no civil wars or genocide. Unstable governments frighten me.
