The smartest/most strategic player gets the 3rd place spot like always. Prepare for a series of shit Final Twos.

Stupid production robbed us of a Cirie win. I hate the final 3 rule in general, but couldn't they wait to change it back to final 2 next season?

Cirie = Rob.C/Fairplay = Did not win
But I do wonder: if Cirie had won the F3 IC, would she have taken Amanda or Parvati to the F2? James said to Amanda that she "had it locked up"; I wonder if everyone thought (as many of us did) that Parvati would have been a better goat. |

Apparently Cirie said in an interview that she would have taken Parvati. Which I guess makes sense, since she kept talking about how much of a jury threat she
thought Amanda was.
On a related note, I think Parvati may have thrown that challenge because she knew either person would take her. |

when the goal is to get to the end and win its impossible for the smartest/most strategic player to be the third place finisher. the winner is almost always the smartest/most strategic player since there is no right or wrong way to play and to win.The best player usually wins, but there's definitely some luck involved as well. Even if you're the greatest player ever, you can't control what the challenges will be, or who will win them, or what random twists are going to be thrown at you. And even if you're incredibly good at reading people, you can never know what they're going to do 100% of the time. You also can't control things like random injuries, like what happened to Jonathan. In any case, I think Cirie is a very strong contender for being the best player who's never won---in fact I think she has the best claim for that title at this point. |
