I made a big batch so I didn't have to cook for the rest of the week. Little did I know... Ingredients: -noodles -chicken stock -mustard -frozen peas -frozen spinach -leftover mystery sauce from the previous week's Chinese takeout -orange-flavored metamucil -and....frozen chicken nuggets The base of the soup got lumpy because the metamucil and the mystery sauce clumped together, and the chicken nuggets, which I had chopped up, inflated.

Good thing it was only me, my new hubby (yes I was married at 17) and my two sisters. I was crushed! My turkeys always turn out perfect now. Oh.. and one time, I put some eggs on to boil and forgot about them. They exploded.

It was several days before I could get back to my place and holy fuck did that shit smell nasty when I took it out.

I pulled a pan of a boneless lamb leg that we'd split and stuffed into two parts out of the stove and put it on counter but with it hanging over the edge. Then I picked up the piece that was completely over the counter with tongs. Other half of the sucker with the pan came splashing on me, burned the fucking shit out of my leg right through my jeans, and my arm too, grease fucking everywhere. That sucked. The other one was my stepson was doing something with one of those Pyrex dishes, some funky desert thing, and he put some sort of liquid in it when it was too hot and it just exploded. Admittedly, that pretty cool.

Both sides of the family invited. The turkey was dry, the mashed potatoes were lumpy and I didn't know how the fuck to make gravy. But no one told me how bad it was until a couple of years later when Mr. Pie's uncle said that it was the worst turkey he's ever had. I was wondering why there was so much leftover. I haven't made it myself since.
