Near the beginning of the season she doesn't do a whole lot, she gets into some alliances and you're like "eh... she seems like an okay player
but I don't love her" then during the middle she starts to become very close to a select few people, usually the stars of the show and in turn becomes
one of the stars (Todd, Courtney, Cirie...) then near the end she makes some huge plays and wins the most important challenges and you're like... ok
she's got this in the bag, there's no WAY she can lose. But then she shows up with the doe eyes, sad, pouty face and you're like oh god... please
don't break down in front of the jury... but sure enough she does. But then the jury all seems to like her and respect her gameplay so you're like well
maybe she will win afterall but you get to the final vote and... she gets 1 vote and 3 votes and loses the Million 2 times in a row.
(I love Amanda, but fortunately I love Courtney, Todd, Parvati and Cirie as well, but I really wanted Amanda to take it home atleast once...)

I was about to mention the doe eyes too. Peih Gee already called her out for it last season and she does the exact same thing this season.

At least nobody can trash her for playing a shitty game and by now, she doesn't play dopey, she's just mellow and listens so overall, her fans should
be happy, moreso than Cirie's fans!

I am bummed... I think I feel worse because I am actually sick right now too... so that doesn't help. BUT... in my mind (and to me that's all that
matters
 )... she is the best female player IN the game of Survivor... she was just PMSing... yeah that's it ;)

i fucking love amanda. i was so bummed to see her lose again. she's one of the best players to ever come across this game, but she just doesn't know
how to play a jury. both times, she was placed in the final tribal, outlasted everyone else except the eventual winner, but her indirect actions (the doe-eyed,
i-can't-handle-the-pressure looks) are what wore on the jury and cost her the game both times.
does anyone know if she posts here? |

Quite frankly if she just showed more confident she would have won even China, because she had the decision to get rid of James which was undeniably the best decision in the entire China season. Here she was just smart enough as Parv and Natalie, but a level lower than Cirie. I love Amanda, but Cirie is a mastermind. |

I think China was more winnable for Amanda. If she had booted Todd and delivered a merely half decent jury perfromance. In Micronesia with Parv or Cirie, she
had to face a great social player who made the big move (Ozzy boot) that she hadn't.

How do you get to two end games, let alone back-to-back end games, and manage to up and bomb them both? How do you turn in two spectacular progressive

What if they said Amanda was going to be in the next Survivor, and promoted the hell out of it. Then the show started and Jeffy said "Surprise! It's not Amanda coming back, but Stephanie!" And then Stephanie hopes out of some bush! Christ, I would hate that. |

She played great both times...until she got caught up in her emotions. Last time it was Todd, and this time it was Cirie, but both times one player just
sparked a serious downfall in her game. I think this does prove, though, that she really is a sweet person, but responding to juries is not for her.

I actually like her after Ozzy was booted, and I think she's a decent player and a sweet girl
But Parvati played a better strategic and social game than she did, and deservce it Though I think Todd played a better social game but not a better strategic game than her last time |
