Im sad I didnt start this thread as I do every season... been terribly busy. But congrats to Parvati, I think she played a really good game with a balance of
both playing it safe in the beginning and then making the bold moves necessary at the merge.

I've heard rumors that Parvati found the hidden idol when she was sent to exile, but we weren't shown it because it wasn't played...why
wouldn't she play it with nothing to lose, and why wouldn't they show it when it would have increased her likeability even more? This can't be
true?

I heard she found it but left it there. I don't think that would've made her likeable. It would've made her look more arrogant than her sun-tanning
in the beach.

I'm happy with Parvarti being the winner but she did do some things that really should have cost her the game. Telling Alexis "are you sure you
don't want us to vote you out" was almost daring Alexis to go against Parv. And the "I refuse to vote Amanda off" could have hurt Parv at
the end because Alexis/Nat maybe would have booted her before the end for having too many jury votes (she didn't know Amanada had the Idol at the time).
And really, finding the HII and leaving it? What the heck?! Things change so fast and why the heck NOT take it? That was realllllllly dumb IMO.

Parvati, you suck.Correction. Only Cirie was robbed! Amanda sucked at the social game big time so she deserved to lose. I was fine witth either Cirie or Parvati winning (preferably Cirie) and I certainly didn't want some socially inept ditz like Amanda winning. Go Parv! |

Parv is on record saying she did not bring the idol back out of fear of the confusion it may have caused and the possibilty of a deal being cut. She knew Nat
was next and was certain both Cirie and Amanda were taking her to F2. She had no reason to bring it back and potentionaly change that dynamic.

Why would James being forced out cause the change to F2? They still had the same number of jurors if he had been voted out the traditional way. And they
could have done the finale like China's, which also had a F3 with 4 people in the finale.
I think it was planned all along as a twist. But it was very dumb to have an even jury IMO. Eliza said in her fan thread they were told if it was a tie that it would have been settled on the island and that it would have been "a long night." I bet they would have revoted. I just can't see them doing fire making challege for one million dollars. My bet is they would revote, and if it was still a tie, they would do some kind of challenge or something that would eliminate one juror's vote, THEN the 7 Jurors would vote again. |

They could have just cancelled the TC (Alexis boot) after James' evacuation, just like they did when Bruce left EI.
The "James' evacuation caused the F2" is bogus, IMHO. They either had the F2 twist in place since day 1 or they really didn't want Cirie to win. 
If there was an unbreakable 4-4 tie in the F2, I would wager that the F2 would have a challenge where the winner would be able to remove the juror of their choice, leaving a jury of seven (so long Ozzy or Nat). |
