12/2 John Wesley Harding 12/11 Flaming Lips / Phoenix and into 2010 2/19 Wild Beasts 3/7 Magnetic Fields Those are the tickets I've purchased so far -- still have a few more shows to buy. |

Well, it's at that arena out by O'Hare, so don't be too heartbroken.
Flaming Lips just get worse every time I see them. I'm really only going to see Phoenix. Hot Chip and The xx on sale this Saturday! |

yeah phoenix rocks live nowadays. i also would like to see the flips play more than 7 songs or whatever & i didn't really realize how bad wayne sounded
in the moment so i think it would be an enjoyable experience still

I am just frustrated by The Flaming Lips. Because of their back catalog, they have the potential to play incredible shows, but every single show I've seen
them play since 2006 has been the same. Thank god I saw them in 94 because they never play those songs anymore -- except "She Don't Use Jelly"
 I'll never hear them play anything from Hit to Death in the Future Head or In a Priest Driven Ambulance ever again.
