I'm right handed, and I USED to chew predominantly on the left side of my mouth. However, I had a very bad experience with a dentist and it was extremely
painful to chew on the left side of my mouth for about six months. Even now, years later, it's still tender if I want to chew on something hard...so the
right side of my mouth does most of the chewing.
