The thread title is pretty self-explanatory: to put this year's rather dubious top 4 group into historical perspective. Are some of them really as bad as
oher people who have made it this far in previous years? If so, who is worse? I'll start it off:
#4. Blake Lewis - Great performer, but really questionable voice for someone who got so far. From interviews I've read, he's also kind of an asshole.
#3. Jasmine Trias - Gorgeous. But she never stayed on key.
# 1 (tie) Mantasia Barfino & Jason Castro - Mantasia's voice is horrible, but at least she has power and hits those glory notes, albeit abrasively. There's really nothing good about Jason's voice. I'll leave it to others to decide which has the worse voice.
DIShonorable mention #1: Josh DISgracin - For his non-country songs only. His country stuff sounds great.
Dishonorable mention #2: David Archuleta - Most consistently mediocre singer to make the top 4. I think it's still too early to say if he will pass Blake and earn a place on this list. Archuleta haters will put him at #1, of course.
Not on this list at all: Nikki McKibbin. Because Simon was wrong about her!
