I agree completely with MakePaulaCry. I Believe I Can Fly is one of the worst songs ever written. Listening to it makes you wish that R. Kelly, Clive and
everybody else connected with it had taken the song's advice and jumped out a high window.

Clive is just a raggedy old fart who will lie, cheat and just be a flat out asshole to make himself look great. Claims he discovered and signed Janis Joplin,
bull-fucking-shit, Janis was already famous and was discovered, Clive just happened to sign her and her band to the label after she was famous. I'm sure
there are many other instances too where others have discovered artists but yet Clive takes credit for it. Seems like a complete control freak to me.

I love how all the haters sing Clive's praises, when he's responsible for the fail careers of Justin, Clay, Ruben, Fantasia, Diane , Bo, Taylor, Kat
and Blake.

Mantasia was a failure because she was simply a failure herself. It would be impossible to ever make that cow marketable without serious re-constructive
surgery, a voice transplant, a different body, etc. Haha.
But yes, you do bring up a good point latingirl about the career failures as well. I was amazed while the Yelly-Clive feud was going on how many people actually supported this fart when he's killed so many careers in the past and wanted Yelly to actually sing bubble gum pop shit. The way I see it, he views these singers as machines more than human beings because of the way he says that they should not write their own songs, they have to be number 1, etc. |

I'm not going to lie but, Fantasia is the reason I started watching Idol. She was hot in NYC with Free Yourself. So it made me wonder what kind of show she
won. So, thanks to her I later discovered Kelly.

Kelly Clarkson needs to get a song out for me to listen too. If I hear I Kissed A Girl one more time I will scream. Girl cannot sing.
Any Kelly new music news? I cannot wait for my concert!!!! |

Even if the label has indicated Dec 2 as the new release date, I think it's still tentative. They way I see it they don't have to commit to a date with
the singele not beigng out yet. Right?

Found this on KCE posted by Varlums, from the Los Angeles
Times ...
Fall preview: Pop musicBy Ann Powers, Los Angeles Times Staff WriterSeptember 7, 2008 'American' made "Idol" worship is a year-round activity, what with former winners, contenders and also-rans producing a steady stream of product. This fall, though, three "Idol" discs have a chance of being more than chart bottom-feeders. The two Davids -- Archuleta and Cook -- extend their loving rivalry by releasing their debuts on the same day, Nov. 11. Archie's is sure to overflow with breathy paeans to young love like his current hit, "Crush." Cook, who's working with renowned rock-dude producer Rob Cavallo toward that Green Day-meets-Our Lady Peace sound, can count on mall shoppers popping in to Best Buy. But both could be clobbered by the comeback of Kelly Clarkson, whose last release was the kind of artistic-risk-turned-commercial-failure that puts an artist in a fighting mood. She's due back sometime in December. And don't forget Jennifer Hudson, whose long-anticipated solo debut drops Sept. 30. |
