I love cry but I question whether it's radio friendly enough to be a single. It kind of reminds me a sober. Brilliant, beautiful, amazing vocals but so
not right for radio.

I do the same with Already Gone - especially after Halo's release.
I know *we* all know the story, but most listeners won't and will think Kelly copied it from Beyonce. I think Cry could easily have the radio edit and kick ass. We'll see, I guess... |

I'm sure this is going to get removed, but I had to show it anyway - pretty fucking stupid and JT sounds awful singing it, lol.
Now the skit he did of "Mother Lover" last night was major |

If no one told me that these songs sounded alike I wouldn't even think about it and I think that's what the majority of radio listeners are going to feel like as well. Lyrically, vocally and delivery wise they are two completely different songs. The only thing they have in common is Ryan Tedder. I'm not sure Cry would benefit greatly from a radio edit. Again, like Sober. The brilliance of that entire song is the build up and something got lost in the radio edit. Not that it couldn't have been a hit with label support but they released it during Summer which was also a major fuck up on their part. You don't release ballads during summer. |

You are not the casual radio listener/Kelly fan... Go to youtube videos of AG and it's non-stop fucking fighting over who did the background music first -
B or KC - or which song is better, blah blah blah. People don't know the story. Like I said - WE know it, THEY don't. The comparisons are going to be
there even if you don't see it.

I think "Cry" is very similar to "Because of You." I almost think "Cry" is a safer option than "Already Gone."
"Save You" is even safer than "Already Gone." I know more fans like "Already Gone" the most (I love it), but I almost would have
preferred "Cry" or "Save You" as the ballad of choice.
It also seems like Kelly is campaigning to release "If I Can't Have You" fourth, which is a mistake. I would choose "Don't Let Me Stop You," "Long Shot" or "Ready." |

The Day We Fell Apart should def. be the 4th single, but alas it probably won't be anything.

I mean, I knew I loved it but I think I'm gonna retract my prior opinion and agree that CRY needs to be a single. It would be the BOY of this album for sure. IF AG is released Kelly will do radio interviews and talk about the song and when it was recorded with Ryan and I'm guessing that will settle that issue. Besides that the songs are completely different in content even if to some they sound similar in the structure. One is a love song to another person and the other is about breaking up with someone. Vocally they couldn't be more different either. matt wrote: any of those except Long Shot would be great. I'm vehemently opposed to her releasing another Katy Perry song. I wish she had released long shot instead of hook up because I actually like long shot better but one Katy Perry release is good enough. I'm pulling for DLMSY personally. I love the attitude of that song dic wrote: see i feel that way about Tip of my Tongue. I absolutely love that song! My daughter actually hated this CD until she heard TOMT and because she always wanted to hear that song she finally really listened to the rest of the CD and now she says it's the best CD Kelly's done so far. Of course everytime she pushes the button to play the CD in the car I have to give her a hard time by reminding her how she hated that CD at first and now she wants to play it even more than I do |

ILGE's "she looks so happy and healthy" = the rest of the world's "she's getting chunky, isn't she"

Kelly is a bit chunky these days and people do say so... but they also say DAMN that girl can SANG and at the end of the day it's her voice not the size of her ass that people will pay to see in concert. Especially since everytime she performs live she blows people away. some twitter comments: TropicAnna84: had a great time at Wango Tango! BEP was awesome as always, Lady Gaga did not disappoint, Kelly Clarkson rocked the house...great weekend 22 minutes ago from web _Slamma_: flo rida=pleasantly suprised 35 minutes ago from txt then the review of OC register http://www.ocregister.com/articles/songs-stage-flo-2402692-wango-rida Kelly Clarkson's robust arena pop-rock was a refreshing break from the mindless beats. Her philosophical preference for "quality over quantity" in "I Do Not Hook Up" was the perfect antidote to the overt sexuality of pretty much everything else on stage that night. All of the songs she performed are the kinds you sing in your car or in your room when nobody's around, the kinds that are really embarrassing when someone walks in mid-vocal riff. In fine form, Clarkson's voice effortlessly slides up and down octaves, proving she could totally school anyone on "Idol" anytime. The mostly female crowd broke into wildly enthusiastic singing during Clarkson's closing female-empowerment hit "My Life Would Suck Without You." |

i'm a huge Kelly fan but dayum she's getting big.
and yeah, as much as I love "Already Gone", "Cry" should be the ballad single. It's got country crossover smash written all over it. |

The horrific frumpy shirts she wears does nothing for her, it only makes her look bigger. She looked amazing body wise in I Do Not Hook Up. I'm betting
once the summer shows start taking place that she'll naturally slender down.
PS. Please don't pick Cry as a single. Already Gone is a much more radio friendly choice. I absolutely loved Cry at the beginning but this song kind of grew old for me. |

Newsflash! It ain't the shirt that's making her look fat. Nice try though. |

At first I though somebody must have photoshopped her pictures to make her look fat, but I guess those pictures are real. I know everyone says that she doesn't care how she looks and is all about the music, but I can't imagine she really is OK with being so heavy. Even if she doesn't care, some of her fans do. She looks sloppy. Her clothes are outrageous. (A padded bra would work wonders in balancing her shape) Her makeup is awful and her hair is stringy. That says "lazy" to me. Everyone should have at least a little pride in their appearance. |
