I love that picture
and the fact that she can be a normal person, having fun, without regard to whether there are cameras around speaks volumes about her as a person. Kelly couldn't give a fuck less if she looks like a fool...she's living her life in the real world, like 99% of the population, where sometimes, gasp, you look like shit. no biggie and Kelly cleans up really nice too
and let's not forget how hot Kelly can look on a magazine cover either
the main thing I personally admire about Kelly is that she's still the same girl she was when she got discovered by America... not big changes were needed cuz she was perfect just the way she was and people loved her and she loves herself
interesting how she looks to be the same size eh? |

Sometimes? All the time, at least for the past year or so with Yelly. no biggie except her beer gut, very biggie in that area |

well lost in space...since that's from when you claim you were a fan, I'd figure you'd enjoy reading them
New tidbits are coming out regarding the new album Ryan Tedder of One Republic did a podcast a few days ago where he talked about doing a lot of ROCK oriented stuff with Kelly and the he and Kelly had ben trading songs back and forth via email.... According the EW Kelly is shooting for a pre-christmas release date on the new album http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2008/07/daughtry-album.html?xid=rss-feed-americanidol-20080702-Chris+Daughtry+talks+about+his+upcoming+album Kelly also has some pretty interesting songwriters working on her album according to this information http://www.innocentwords.com/storiesnew.shtml "Pinnick wrote these songs during a busy time in his life so when he came back to them to record for XV he didn't even remember writing the new songs. He was busy with writing and recording his solo album, he spent time schmoozing at music conventions, went to California for a stint to help write songs with Mick Mars of Motley Crue for the new Kelly Clarkson album and worked with the people at Guitar Hero to get a King's X song included in the insanely popular video game" Guess she's staying with the more rock influenced sound....so much for towing the Clive Davis line I guess |

Guess she didn't go through with her promise then...

Perhaps she is doing exactly what the new guy wants her to do, which is making a record SHE wants to make and he'll support her with that.... Towing Clive's line is no longer necessary as he's no longer CEO of RCA.... she doesn't answer to him anymore... which is a great thing IMO... |

It's absolutely stupid for her to try and go Rock again though. She did that with My Disaster and it failed on epic proportions.
The only way to sell Kelly is with modern Pop songs. That's just a fact. She needs to realize that she's pop... just like Carrie is country and Fantasia is R&B/Soul music. |

Kelly has never claimed to be metalica
What do you think Kelly should be singing, songs like "7 things I hate about you" from Miley Cyrus? THAT is pop fluff which is what you seem to think is what garnered Kelly her most success and that is just not true. Miss Independent was a harder than average pop song, SUBG, BTHE, and Walk Away too. Rock influence means heavier drums and guitar. and your opinion of epic fail is your opinion. 1.6 million albums sold world wide and multiple hit singles overseas not to mention her one US single which debuted in the top 10 of the hot 100 and sold 960K copies isn't too shabby IMO.... and lest we forget she successfully toured on MD, both in the U.S. and internationally. I can't wait for her new CD to come out! I love badass Kelly! eta: why should Kelly limit herself to just "pop" music anyway? how long of a shelf-life do most pop artists have? 10 maybe 20 years if they are lucky? Kelly should try to genre jump as much as possible IMO and not worry about the commercial aspects of her CDs. CD sales are dying anyway...she should just make music that moves her... definition of pop music commercial music: modern commercial music, usually tuneful, up-tempo and repetitive, that is aimed at the general public and the youth market in particular that certainly doesn't sound like Kelly's music to me....

Carrie or Kelly - great voices, great songs.http://www.americanidol.com/contestants/season7/brooke_white/?qapage=2
Kelly Clarkson. http://www.americanidol.com/contestants/season7/david_cook/?qapage=2
I really don't have a favorite. Kelly was really inspiring since she was the first, but the rest of them are fun to listen to as well.http://www.americanidol.com/contestants/season7/david_archuleta/?qapage=2

Ah Maadx you little gay twit.Ah Vinman, you ignorant slut? Dan Aykroyd you are not. While your lost in you little nirvanaI own the box set! Every day, I drink my Pennyroyal Tea, and when I'm in a laundry room, I get Sappy. And I've been living in my own Private Idaho for years. and how Carrie is pretty much dominating in terms of exposure, likable music and overall celebrity worth. What kind of exposure do you mean? Retouched magazine covers in which she looks like she's the poster girl for the Nazi diet? On American Idol where she wore an outfit with extensions made out of Charmin? Or do you mean exposure like say, Ashley Alexandra Dupree? Do you have a secret sex tape of Carrie (not that I'd want to see someone that emaciated doing the wild thing). Likeable music? How many of her songs have been played on non-country stations? "Inside Your Heaven"? Yecch. I heard it in the supermarket last week, and it took me a minute to realize what it was. Then I was reminded how crappy it was. "Some Hearts"? Pretty good. "Before He Sh*ts"? Pee-Yew. I've never heard any of the other songs except when I was previewing her CD's in record stores. (New York has not had a country radio station since 1997). I'll give you that some of them are good, some not so much. If I were to recommend a country album, Miranda Lambert and Tift Merritt would be at the top of my list along with Robert Plant's and Alison Krauss's "Raising Sand." Since when is "celebrity worth" something to be valued. Should celebrities be traded on the commodities exchange, like oil and pork bellies? |

Yeah right. You can easily find people who thought My Disaster was a fantastic album... same thing. And the guy admits how fucking biased he is at least.
