Because eBay ate them.
I've got my late mother's collectibles that my sleezy brothers insist that I sell. Some of the questions from the potential buyers are too stupid for words. As a buyer, I made the mistake of giving a seller neutral feedback because the guy overcharged on his shipping and the thing disappeared for awhile. He didn't send it in a manner you could track. He gave me bad feedback and eBay let it stick. My only obligation as a buyer was to pay the bastard. He was paid via paypal within 5 minutes of the auction ending. |

Have you talked to a local auction house? Sometimes they will take stuff on commission.
Or an Estate Buyer. It's easier than listing shit and mailing and such. Craigslist would be creepy. Having people show up to pick stuff up. |

I have bought tons of unreleased complete TV series from the 50s and 60s off of ioffer.com, antique radios and a watch for parts for my dad's old rolex.
It is the wild wild west, though. I was ripped off twice, but I made their lives a brutal existence. |
