I'll watch it and see.
Her audition was really good and her Hollywood (what city is that for Aussie Idol?) stuff sounded awesome but wtf at her semis performance. The beginning was painful and the version was just fucking weird. She sounded decent on some parts but it was just a poor choice all around. I like her though so I guess we'll see if she's a wildcard. ETA: EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Aussie Idol has a David Archuleta. I watched Tom's audition after I watched Sophie's video and omg he's Archie 2.0, the Aussie version. He sung the same audition song and he had a medical sob story to boot.

Uh... no, he's not. Tom is a third-rate Archie wannabe. That's what he is. WTF with that same audition song? I don't see him on Miki's list of
faves either, so clearly Tom is no Archie. Plus he has ugly hair. Ick.

Tom is definitely no Archbot for several reasons:
1. He's a human being 2. He's like your everyday normal teenager 3. He acts his age 4. More talented than ArchBot 5. And unlike the ArchBot, he will win. TOMOWNAGE!!!! |

I just have a feeling this season is going to tank by the end.Maybe not. But I kinda feel the same way  . Really depends on the wildcards I think, because my current favorite Teale is gonna be overshadowed
by overly pimped craptards. And it seems the only girls getting through are belters.
And we need Amanda in this season. And we need her to do well. |

Yeah it's totally going to come down to the 4 wildcards chosen. I just hope these people start choosing riskier songs and just show more star power, or else it's going to be a play it safe season like CI6. |

First choice for the wildcard is chosen by Dicko. He thinks this person needs to know how to pick songs better, and it's Amanda!!!! I love her. Amanda said try not to be so paranoid and care too much. She is singing Tina Turner's Simply The Best. I didnt expect that. She definitely moves more freely and a lot more relaxed. Dicko: That was a great start, you always performed very well on stage. That was a perfect song choice for you, not too obscure. I think you connect with the public. Marcia: I'm not gonna judge tonight, leave it to the Australian public, but I think you did a very fine job. Kyle: You look great, you have a very strong voice. You gave 110%. I give you a little bit of respect. Good luck to you. Just so you know, one time I was staying at a hotel room next to Tina Turner's room and hear her rehearsing this song. This is a sign! Banks is welcomed! She is singing I'm Not Gonna Write You a Love Song. This is definitely a smart song choice. I think she was
off on some parts. I don't know if this will be strong enough
Marcia: I'm noticing something, you did a lot of licks. Keep it simple stupid. Not everybody is good enough with licking. But well done. Kyle: You're wearing the pleasing top for the Father's day. Robbie WIlliams' Angel. Oh my god, what a horrible start. Shaky. It sounds like a gimpy old man singing while defacating. I'll be
shocked if that gets any praise. What a waste of space.

Singing If I Aint Got You by Alicia Keys. Oh why oh why, she sucks when it comes to picking an interesting song to sing. She
sings better than last time, but I wish she's as funky as she in the audition or top 100 episode.

James. Another disappointing choice. He is probably picked to fit the Father's Day theme. He is singing Superman by
Five For Fighting. Admittedly, his vocal is better than last time, but just can't stand watching him.

It's Trisha Yearwood - How Do I Live. WOw, what a beautiful start. Wow, the voice is literally flawless. She better get through. Chills, chills, chills.
Clear, pure, crystal voice. Oh my, the ending. Man, I really hope she gets through.
Kyle: You did everything right, there;s nothing not to like. But I don't know if I care enough, Dicko: I do like you, this competition needs you. As strong as your singing was, I still think you need to set your benchmark. I really want to help you. Marcia: I love the storytelling of country music. So, stick to that. He's singing Let Her Cry by the Hottie & The Blowfish. I like this song when I was younger, but he made it sound boring. There's
nothing amazing about the vocal at all.

The final opportunity, introduced by Dicko goes to....Sophie. Wow Natalie didn't get picked, but she looks okay though. Fair enough, while amazing, Natalie
seems she can only sing songs from Dreamgirls. Sophie is singing I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. She did some scatting on the song. It was kinda
boring actually. She doesnt deserve the pimp spot.

I love Sophie's voice, MiracleMax was right, thanks twinsy! The Australians here probably do, but the rest of you should. She's the best ever. I think "I'm Yours" was great. I'd give the song choice lower marks but I wasn't bored and I thought she sang it great. Sophie for judge wildcard pick. I'm checking out others who you all said you liked now. Brooke Adamo "Foolish Games" Very, very good. I'm a huge fan of Jewel and FG is a difficult song to pull off and I think she did very well. I like her voice a lot. I was really impressed with her performance. Brooke <3 Madam Parker "No One" I also like Alicia Keys and this song a lot so another good song choice. I actually like her voice too. She's cool. I haven't seen the other people in Group 4 yet but I think Australia made good picks with Brooke and Madam. Teale is great too. Awesome choices everyone. He's a cutie and he can really sing. Teale <3 So far I like everyone you all mentioned. Brooke W, yeah I like her voice too. Not the greatest but decent enough. So I watch Thanh because he made the Top 12 and he sang "One" WTF? I guess he has an okay voice but his version of "One" was pretty shitty. He sounded like he was straining half the time and the arrangement was stupid. Fuck Thanh. Amanda because you all like her as a sentimental favo. Cool song choice, kind of looks like Pink too. She's good, wouldn't be at the top of my list but she'd be a cool addition to the Top 12. Better than Thanh for sure. Wes Carr who is dressed like a hobo for whatever reason is good too. Like his voice, great performance, he definitely knows how to pick a song that suits him. Awesome. Chrislyn I watched because she made the Top 12. A very disturbing part of her performance was the person with the Kyle = sex bomb sign, ewww. She's okay. She was fun and she can sing well. Didn't love her but didn't hate her. She can definitely sing. So the only people I don't like are Thanh and Tom so far but I haven't watched everyone. I love Sophie, Brooke and Teale the best and I like Madam, Wes and Amanda a lot. |
