Kayla Vanzetta is up next. She's been waiting for 5 years to audition. I'm sorry, I didn't catch the song or the artist she is singing. That's a strong start. Unfortunately, it didn't go anywhere. The vocal is flawless but she didn't put any dramatic effect, so it's a passable performance.
Marcia: You did a very good job, but be careful when you go for the big notes and learn to control your breath,
Kyle: I know you've been nervous all day. I think you're great. I love that you don't have the suburban blonder look, sort of emo. You actually nailed that department. I don't think that was your best performance.
Dicko: You sing very very well. You said you're shy. I'm afraid that was a bit forgettable. This is tough.
Vocal: 9 --- Performance: 7 --- Song Choice: 7
James Spargo is up next and singing Chasing Cars. Um, his voice doesn't fit this song at all. He doesn't sing well either anyway, and he never did. He didn't deserve to get through top 24 to begin with.
Kyle: I think you oversang everything. You should just cruise through. You made it theatrical. You're pretty though.
Dicko: If you win this, you'll be marketed as Adult Contemporary Artist. But that was too safe, you should cut loose a little bit. Be more unpredictable.
Marcia: All you need to do is cut your notes a bit quicker. That was the best song out of 2007, tell the story quickly in pop sensibility.
Vocal: 5 --- Performance: 7 --- Song Choice: 9
