It just means the fruit is starting to really develop and it's sapping away resources from the leaves. Just pick the dead ones off.

It has been like that for a few years though, and it has been growing the whole time. I would think a disease would have killed it by now.

redkramer, send me some lime leaves! Not the rotten ones, please.
I saw Nigella put it in one of her recipes. |

Is it really a lemon tree. We have been trying to figure that out because when we bought it the tag just said citrus. Last year we waited forever and the fruit
never turned yellow so we assumed it was a lime tree.

It's easy, you'd never put da lemon in da coconut and drink it all up.

Sounds like the tree has citrus leaf miners, an insect that makes little trails in a serpentine fashion inside the leaf. The leaves may also curl at the
edges. Best control is to purchase Fertilome Borer, Bagworm, leafminer and Tent Caterpillar Spray and use according to label directions. The active
ingredient is Spinosad and is an organically approved insecticide. Check out Google images for Citrus Leaf miners to see pictures of the problem.

Thanks Bubbs that looks like what we have. We will see if they actually turn yellow this year, if they dont I will take a picture of a big ass green lime/lemon
to prove you people wrong. I swear last year we left that fucker on there for a month waiting for it to turn yellow or even start to turn yellow but it never
did.

Did you try cutting into the fruit and tasting it, or at least smelling it?
The leaves totally look like the leaves on our lemon tree. Except shriveled. |
