I know that just as many idols were found in Fiji, but let's be serious, it feels like the show is just revolving around the idols at this point. It's getting kind of old. If they're going to have idols, they should do it like China. Two idols, don't re-hide them when they are gone, and reveal the clues through the kidnapping twist.

I think we've had every possible scenario with the HII now. Even though it's entertaining, they should get rid of it for next season, or it'll get
old really fast.

Who knows what the show helped her with but Amanda's Idol seemed really hard to find and well hidden. If that was Cerie out there, her lazy fat ass
wouldn't have found a single thing.
The clue in the water was ridiculous. Yeah, the water is clear blue but walking from the hut to that island is a lot of space to cover even if you walk in a straight line and the fact that she found that wooden clue is a little bit ridiculous. Also, the sand digging? Again..a lot of space to cover and it could have been anywhere in there. I think Amanda earned it and her blindside was glorious fun. |

Providing all the clues at once is a better format. That way there would be no sharing of information. It gives you no chance to find it until more clues are
found. Deciphering the clues and finding it like this season is better. The clues should be changed each time a new survivor goes out there, even if not found.
We've seen Cirie and Kathy give up, Chet not bothering. People really wanting to win the game looked for it. I can't remember how hard Ami looked. As for Amanda, the first clue about where the water was lapping, my first thought was the overhangs, like the spot where Ozzy gave birth to Sticky. As for the under water clue, I'm willing to bet she made quite a few passes between the shore and the shack before she found it. The amount of digging she did was amazing, when she first started out I was like, no way our finding it like that, but she really must of busted her butt digging that trench. There was nothing easy about finding this idol. |

Thanks for bumping this thread, LOL, since everyone here is NOW saying "remember when the Hidden Immunity Idol was hard to find"? It's like
senior's in high school remembering how hard they had it vs. how easy it is now. The idols were always easy to find, barring a few exceptions. Now
contestants are finally catching on. Russell's an ass, but apparently he can back it up.

The HII was TOO hard to find. So they made it easier. But, the HII was always a bad idea and it keeps getting worse.
Next week, it seems like people from Galu will be playing a person-to-person defense in order to prevent FF from having any private time to search for the idol and possibly even to have any private conversations. If the game devolves into the 5 people from Galu (minus Dumbo) each following one of the people from FF (plus Dumbo) around so that they can't search for the HII or have any private conversations, the game will truly devolve into the POS suckfest it deserves to be. What will they do? Implement a "no yards" rule? Each player must stay at least ten yards away from any other player. There is no close shadowing allowed. If that happens, the game will become so stupid that it should be the end of the show. Thank goodness!

At this point I want Russell to find a new one each and every episode. Sometimes two, along with a cache of beads and plans to make a dozen fake idols which
Galu wears home each week.
Maybe then TPTB will finally ditch this "twist" which is so twistlike that a player found two idols without clues. |
