In the last two episodes,Erik keeps saying that Amanda would do really well in the finale, maybe Amanda did do well this time IMO.

everyone in the pearl islands said the exact same thing about lil and look what happened to her. so i would not be surprised if she loses again in the final
vote

Terrywins, that's what I'm thinking too. For the longest time in Pearl Islands everyone said, "You're too likeable, Lill" Yet when it
came down to it, it was a landslide victory for Sandra...who by the way never won a single individual challenge. So to whoever said that winning challenges
either helps or hurts a case. I beg to differ.

Lil was nice but she stabbed a lot of people in the back. Amanda has a couple of advantages on Lil. Amanda has people on the jury that want her to win
(Ozzy/James), and Lil didn't. The backstabber here would be Parvati not Amanda.

My vote predictions:
For Parvati- Natalie, Jason For Amanda- Ozzy, James For Cirie- Eliza ???- Erik, Alexis |

But I still don't think it means that he votes Parvarti. I can see him voting for Amanda and then hooking up with Parvarti on the plane ride home...I think James would feel like he owed Amanda his vote. |

To me ... Cirie seems most likely to "Stir the Pot"....she's been shown as an instigator and schemer.

booted. He wanted Amanda to vote for Parvati with him to be booted. That doesn't sound like someone that will vote for Parvati to win. They might have made
up after the show was over and dated for a while. That to me doesn't sound like a vote for Parvati. He also made comments in one of his confessionals on
the inside clips that, he thought it was stupid for Alexis to trust Parvati because she blindsided Amanda with Ozzy's boot.

I just hope Cirie doesn't win, she's just too conniving

Cirie will win. Face the facts.

If Cirie doesn't win, I bet if they polled the jurors at the reunion most of them would own up to wanting to switch their vote after seeing the show air.
Cirie's been awesome behind the scenes/confessionals. They may not realize it while they're voting, or her jury performance may suck. No one knows...

I could see Cirie having a jury performance like Sandra or Todd...just blow everyone away. I think Cirie would be brutally honest (but charismatic at the same
time), and Survivor juries like that. Rob M. was honest, but completely un-charismatic.
I honestly cannot imagine Cirie having a bad jury performance. That scenario is her element...social manipulation. I think it's also the element of Parvati and Amanda, but we've seen how Amanda performs in that scenario, and Parvati could get shaken. I think if Cirie gets there, she'll maximize the opportunity. |

Scheming and plotting is what the game is about. It ain't about being truthful, loyal, nice and trustworthy, unless that's part of your scheming
and plotting.
Perhaps you'd prefer a nicer game like Candyland. |

Eric says you have to be a psychopath and look at people as chess pieces and not as human beings to win.

Coachocd wrote: Are you meaning for this season.. Huh. That could suggest an Amanda win! Honestly it would be hilarious if this time Amanda wins because she was more vocal. Because last time, I still think that Amanda was a more strategic player than Todd.. It was just he went out and told everyone how strategic he was. It would be hilarious if Amanda wins because "she said things to Erik like I'm a strategic player" LOL! Eric says you have to be a psychopath and look at people as chess pieces and not as human beings to win. Bitter much.. I'm not sure what Eric thought the game would be like? Of course it's like (having chess pieces") but if you take it as a game like someone like James does then you don't have to get to angry about it. |

He wasn't saying it in a negative way. He was not angry in his interviews except at himself.

urrout wrote: I've been saying that for 15 seasons. Even Rob C. acknowledged that the traits that make you excel at life can be the same traits that make you suck at Survivor. Make friends later. People in this game are tissue to be used and discarded (in a way that still enables them to vote for you in the final TC).The best schemer and plotters tend to be those who most come off as reptilian in real life. Hasn't anyone here ever bluffed in Poker? Whom you like, whom your "friends" are and whom you want to have sex with are completely and totally irrelevant unless you are on the jury, and then you can vote however you want. All that ultimately matters is how you get you to the final 2, against your ideal final 2 partners, against the the ideal jury composition. Make friends and apologize if you need to later, or laugh in their faces all the way to the bank, but emotional voting is the cardinal sin of this game (unless you are on the jury.) You just have to discard people like tissue in a way that makes them still willing to vote for you even as the lesser of evils. It reminds me of the meaning of diplomacy. "Telling someone to 'go to hell' in such a way that makes them look forward to the trip." No, I meant over all the seasons there are examples.More than one juror has stated that if they'd known what they saw on television they would have switched their vote, even if they had to grit their teeth to do it.Are you meaning for this season..

You know what? There are things I wouldn't do in this game even though it's for a million dollars. I'd be wary or romance only to dumb the person, and well the Dreamz move. I'd probably try to play the game as clean as possible. In many ways because you want votes! That's the tricky part of the game -- the built in accountability mechanism in the jury. There are something you "can't" do and win the game. But someone who can't lie to someone's face, profess your undying friendship or even love, and then vote them off anyway is severely hampered in this game. It all proves Erik's point. To compartmentalize your real self, from your game actions, from the jury-friendly persona you show to your fellow castaways is EXTREMELY difficult, and that's why a sociopath or reptiles or cold-blooded used car salesman do so well at this game -- they have lots of real life practice. Brian is the epitome of this -- a porn actor / used car salesman who is used to compartmentalizing his emotions from his game face in real life has built up true Survivor muscles.
