How does Paula function during the day? Does she remember to get up in the morning? Does somebody feed her? How can she sit through 5 performances and forget
what she watched?

I really think that Paula has serious problems with a back injury. She stands up a lot when the kids sing. I think it's too painful for her to sit down
for very long. I think she's on some heavy drugs for the back pain. And I don't think AI will can her. Part of the entertainment value is to see what
kind of things Paula will end up doing / saying. She's unpredictable! (Well, except when she tells horrid-singing girls that they look beautiful.)

At top 5 they normally do two songs and the show is an hour. This time it did seem a bit rushed, but I actually love a jam packed show so there isn't so
much fucking inane banter with Ryan and the judges & contestants.

I've never remembered a Top 5 show being THIS rushed, though. The songs were over before they began practically, and never have they judged only once. It
was like AI was in a time warp. Maybe it's because they show even more commercials now than in prior years?

Yeah, I think more commercial time is a possibility.
Even if Paula had taken notes from the dress rehearsal with the intention of using them for the live show, that's still damaging. I'm really curious to see if this story will have legs. |

Nothing is going to happen because of this. They will just do major damage control tonight. Some people will buy it, some people won't. Eventually
something new will happen that the media will jump on. AI will continue to be a top rated show, even with slipping ratings. Paula won't be fired.

I can't believe I am going to defend Paula here, but they changed the show up for the first time, and yes Paula fucked up...but for once I would say that
she was not to blame. The instructions from dipshit wanker Ryan was "you sing twice, then get the judges replies.
They sing once, then dipshit wanker Ryan asks the judges what do you think. They should get to sing twice, then the judges should give critiques. But if you are into the show is fixed theory, what about Shitista (whatever her name is). Did you see that the camera work on her was TERRIBLE. Hands waving in her face, bad camera angles, camera cutting her off, etc. |

I have another theory. What if one of Paula's people always gives her a list of possible comments to make (in order to disguise her Broca's aphagia)
and she just picks whichever one makes the most sense to her at the time, and as she thought they has sung twice (pain killers warped her sense of time), she
just picked another comment out of her list. So maybe this has been going on for ages and we only noticed it now! Thing is, does anybody listen to her either
way?
