I'm Alive. Stylish lower register start, a little pitchy but not offensively so. In fact, it's just pitchy enough to be true to a Neil Diamond sound. He stays fairly conservative through the title line, again true to the tone of the original. He sounds convincing enough, although if I had a stopwatch running, I'd bet he barely made 80 seconds. It just sort of .. ended. Strong 6, maybe a 7?? |
