Forever In Blue Jeans A guitar starts, joined by Jason's. I like the pitch he's singing in, which is substantially lower than the original. But his voice shakes through the first line, as if that ain't his range. He takes the second line up an octave, and it's closer to pitch, although a tad nasally. Then the bridge, which is yet another vocal style. Is he three-in-one-man tonight? The higher Jason takes the title line again. Not bad, although I'm wondering which singer of the 3 he really thinks he is. A 6. (Judging is reserved for the second selection.) ETA: Only 18 to go ... |

I really enjoyed that. The first time I heard this song when I was a kid, I thought it was called Reverand Blue Jeans.
 I completely forgot about that until now.

I had forgotten how much I love Neil Diamond...and if he's had plastic surgery, his was amazing, unlike Kenny Rogers'. He looks good!
Jason wasn't bad. I don't think he knocked it out of the park, by any means, but I liked it. |
