I hate these week already. 8 performances by Archtard, Stonertard, Psycho Hippie and Screamesha and only 2 from Cook.

While I'm psyched for Neil Diamond night on Idol, I'm preparing for more than the usual share of the "cabaret," and "love boat"
comments from Simon. Diamond's classics are so ingrained into the American pop culture that it's going to take someone picking an unfamiliar song and
totally blowing it away to make a real impression. I'm not sure any of the remaining contestants have the nerve/ability to do this.
Just had a sudden flash of Archtard doing "Solitary Man." And Cook going the Urge Overkill route. Yes, this night is ripe for all-time classic camp performances. EDIT: if the above song choices are true, then Archtard got the pick of the litter. |
