I saw Aaron's show yesterday. it was really hard to watch. he had his young son with him and he was cooking for him. that's great and all, but I
want to know about the other kid -- the MISSING one. is there any update. I believe in second chances, and it's great he figured out how to be a dad this
go round. but what about the other. the whole time he was feeding that little kid I kept wondering if the missing boy would see any of this. I really feel
that this should be addressed. you don't drop a bomb like that on tvland and never mention it again. he's up for that dad of the year award. in
addition to a bad show, it's all just creepy considering.

Fried, greasy, disgusting food.
Chicken strips coated in BOTH flour and tortilla chips ,then fried. Those french fries were the greasiest things i've seen in awhile. His other kid probably ran away to a nutrition camp. |

His show was pretty bad, but the food looked no less healthy than much of the stuff cooked on other shows.

Ability to perform on camera is actually a bit more important when you are HOSTING A TELEVISION SHOW than the depth of one's love of food. If Adam, in fact, doesn't give a shit about food, he faked it well enough, and that's all that matters... |

Adam is likeable I will grant you that, and the kids loved him, but they weren't looking for the next Soupy Sales.

ADAM GERTLER WINS TOO... his own show
Adam Gertler is in L.A. shooting episodes of a new Food Network show Will Work For
Food, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.
It's not a cooking show, per se. Gertler will show how people in the food business do their jobs. Among them: potato chip inspector, shark feeder and dog-food taste-tester. Gertler, an actor and former waiter at Amada in Old City, coowned The Smoked Joint, a short-lived barbecue restaurant at the Academy House in Center City. According to the article, Will Work For Food premieres Sep. 30 at 9:30pm on Food Network. No official word from Food Network, though. UPDATE: Food Network confirms it's true. "On The Next Food Network Star Adam exhibited a unique combination of quick wit, passion for food and an engaging personality," said Bob Tuschman, Senior Vice President, Programming and Production for Food Network. "He earned millions of fans across the country who have let us know that we have a second star in our midst. We feel this series is a perfect fit for his talents, letting him showcase his brand of humor while he works for food." |

You know, they have somewhat of a point with Aaron. Seems like on a lot of these shows, they cook up seafood and when was the last time you've had seafood?
Me too. Who needs that stinky shit? Have a show just dedicated to beef and hamburger. And another just devoted to chicken. That's all the shit that I need. 'Nuff said. |

Aaron's Runaway | ||
I want to know about the other kid -- the MISSING one. I read in Susie's blog on www.foodnetwork.com the week after that show (where Aaron mentioned the runaway kid) that Aaron had told her the kid was back and all was well. Whateverthehell that means. |

If all was well, why only pimp out the younger kid in person and show a picture of the older kid?
are the two boys half-brothers? does big daddy love one more than another? |

Adam got a payback for them ripping off his idea. Though now it's not technically a rip-off...Adam is part of the family now. That's special.
