I love, I just fucking LOVE when I'm in first place in single player mode and the drivers in last bombard me non-stop with squids, POW blocks, lightning
bolts, blue shells and other stuff you can't defend against! I love a good challenge as much as the next guy but this shit is really abusive. You can't
even catch a breath before something else attacks you.
Oh and I'm gonna go ahead and add the rest of you since Crawler is NEVER on-line, like never.

Yeah, the item distribution is really out of whack in this one. In past games the blue shell has been really rare. In this one, it seems like I'm getting
hit with at least 4 of them a race.

yeah, 50cc is OK, 100cc is a bit much, 150cc is ridiculous, items everywhere you don't even need to know how to drive

The worst is that they have that little warning beep in the remote right before you're about to get hit with a red shell, a green shell, a bullet bill, or
a star-activated driver. The only way that you're able to defend them, like in previous versions, is to just hope you have multiple bananas or multiple
green/red shells activated and circling you.
As far as the POW blocks, apparently if you do a quick boost before the POW goes off, you won't get hit. The squid, the lightning, and the blue shells, though, are absolutely unnecessary. And the worst is that you don't get them if you're in the top half of the field -- you have to be in the bottom half, or else really lucky in the middle, to get the good power-ups. Speaking of, whatever happened to the Boo power-up? |

I finally completed the 50cc cups.
Does anybody know how to make the gamecube controller work? I need a break from the wii wheel and the control setup for the VC Controller and wii remote/nunchuk combo sucks. Also how do you enter the tournaments? |

also your items don't last, I swear every 20 seconds SOMETHING will make you lose all your items ala lightening, POW etc...it's such bullshit
I am working on 50cc and trying to get first place and 1 star in everything to unlock it all, then attempting 100cc and finish that off... I unlocked Boo, Dry Bones and someone else I forgot haha |
