it's very common for the eventual winner/runner-up to be grouped together
In season 1 Kelly and Justin were in the same group of 10 In season 2 Ruben/Clay and Kim Locke were in the second group of 10 Season 3 Fantasia and Diana were in the same group of 10 Season 4 is when it went to 12 girls/12 guys |

^^ except I have to wonder if people really believe she's that sweet... I know a couple of people who loved her at first because of that but as the season
has worn on they've begun to believe it's an act and it's turned them off completely.
