On 360, do they run everyone's microphones through a processor to make them sound ethnic?
Ive not heard a single person on my headset who doesnt sound black or latino. |

Yes there are actually black and hispanic populations here in the US

My 360 died for the second time. Unable to play yet. Will be the first game in the tray once it's back. Good news, I have been promised a new console with an HDMI plug. Yea for me! |

kind of hard to distinguish
i also wonder if there are any differences in the tv/tv settings/recordings i think the xbox is a little bit crisper and the ps3 a little bit smoother, there are good and bad things about that. ps3 looks a little washed out in places but the lighting effects are more realistic. i have heard though that the ps3 version is not running in full 720p |

Yes, this has happened a couple times where you actually see the inside of the building, then it reappears as you hit it and crash. Other than that, I've
blown up and entire blocks worth of vehicles and no loss of frame rate, which was always one of my biggest peeves with GTA. This whole using the internet
bullshit annoys me, standing around waiting for the game to allow me to meet some guy in a diner so I can shoot him in the face, wtf. At least I don't need
to "eat" to keep my character from dying, I hated that about San Andreas actually. If I wanted a Sim game, I'd have played the Sims

Team Deathmatch has been occupying all of my free time since PS3 finally went up, just unbelievable fun. For anyone that's playing PS3 online, have you
noticed your level ranking go back to 0? My game froze up once and killed all my progress.
Also, Bas Rutten is God. |

Pop in/out happens on the 360 too. I walked into a diner once that was completely full, turned the camera a bit and it went to completely empty, then turned it
some more and it came back to being filled with people.

Playing PS3 on a 720p TV, I honestly don't see a revolutionary difference between this game and a GTA3.x played on the same setup. Obviously it is
noticeably better, but it's not jaw-dropping. The graphics are still more than adequate for the quality of game play.

I'll admit that the graphics are a bit of a letdown, especially since the screen shots we saw looked so awesome, but considering the game renders a
completely 3d world, I'll cut it some slack for not having perfect graphics.
