Free mode is without a doubt the greatest thing in any game ever. So far most of the other players confine themselves to one small area at a time, so if you
feel like exploring the rest of the city there's nothing getting in your way. A lot of times people will fight over the chopper. I like how you can get in
another player's car; someone did that to me, and I simply got out and shot him in his seat.
Right now there's no one else in my game. I took the chopper up to the top of the MetLife building, and unfortunately I put it on a platform that I couldn't get back onto, so I blowed it up and now I'm waiting for sunrise before I simply leap off the building and call it a night. |

Manhattan/Algonquin is great. Central Park, Midtown, the village, it's all there. Feelings of nostalgia as I use the rocket launcher and wipe out crowds of
tourists in Times Square.

So far I haven't seen more than one person at a time with a helicopter, at least not in free roam.
I couldn't get on the PSN today D= so I was stuck playing Rock Band. |

I guess they disabled cheat codes in multiplayer or everybody would be spawning attack helicoptors.

Earlier, three of us had copters and we were shooting at each other. You can also have 6 people in the copter with you. OH - and beware of snipers. They can shoot you while you're in the copter, and then you plummet to your death. Also - I read earlier that this game has already made $400 million dollars, and it hasnt even been out for a week! O_O |

That's exactly why I'm doing story mode first, so I know every area especially when it comes to driving missions, even though I'm jonesing to play
online. It's worth it to open Manhattan if nothing else. I really wish PS3 and Xbox could play together, yet this has been a gamer complaint for years now
so I see nothing changing.
