Caroline on the finale:OK, enough small talk, let's discuss the dinner. First of all I'd like to thank Teresa and Joe again for what was supposed to be a nice dinner among friends. Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way, and it still bothers me to think about it. If you've noticed, I've been very quiet in my blog for the past six weeks in regards to Danielle. I just don't want to discuss her. She is invisible to me. I will say this: I was the one who showed the book, and I showed it to TWO people who are friends of mine. This will be addressed later in the reunion show, so watch and see. It was not done with malice, but out of concern, and fear. Guess what? I'D DO IT AGAIN. I've been getting some comments saying that I should forgive her for her past, and this is true to a degree, but there has been so much behind the scenes that the viewers don't see. My feelings towards Danielle have NOTHING to do with her past, and this too will be addressed in the reunion show. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea that I may have been protecting Dina. If you know anything about me at all, you will know I truly believe that "If you make your bed, you must lie in it." If Dina did in fact show the book I would have let her fight her own battle. She doesn't need me to lie for her, and I wouldn't have. Not my style. There was also a ot of family drama going on that day. This made me cry when I saw it played out on national TV. I will say only this - all is not as it appears. Tune in later...

The last supper...duhn duhn duhhhh...
Let me first start by saying that it was 100% Danielle's choice to make this book a part of the show. We really felt it was a little too serious to bring this to light. She chose to bring this book on and I have to say that I, to this day, feel like it was a poor choice, but I am sure she has her reasons to do so. I've said this before and I'd say it again...we were SHOCKED when asked to comment on this book. SHOCKED. But I made my comments on-air because I felt I needed to defend myself against Danielle saying that I was the one spreading around gossip about the book.

Now here we are having a great family dinner, and Teresa was in rare form cracking us up about her sore chucky. (By the way, the children didn't hear any of that conversation. They were at a separate table. So no worries.) It was really a nice dinner, we had all had a long summer and it was nice to get together and just BS about nothing and laugh 'til we cried, which we did. Then out of nowhere, Danielle decides to pull out "THE BOOK." Why on earth she chose a family dinner to do this is beyond me. Can anyone say inappropriate? But whatever, what's done is done, can't cry over spilt milk, so lets move on.

Every time I see the footage of Danielle's daughter Jillian's face in the background of that dinner scene, I cringe. I feel so badly that they were there to see that go down. But it was Danielle's choice to keep them in the room. Teresa's girls and LEXI were not in the room. She and the girls didn't see any of the big stuff go down. NONE OF IT. I feel so bad for Danielle's girls that they have to deal with any of this. They seem to be strong kids and I guess Danielle's theory of letting them know everything helps them out in situations like this. I'm thinking and hoping that her girls will be just fine. I meant what I said about praying for Danielle...I actually do and have some of my friends that pray on a higher level praying for her too. All I ever wanted was for this girl to leave me alone. As my sister Frannie jokingly says, " Keep my name out of your mouth!" LOL. That's all I want! I never meant any malice towards her. We will see how that works out. Only time will tell...

I also cringe when I see Jacqueline and I going at it. We were definitely not at a good place at that dinner. I think the combination of that and Jacqueline being misinformed about who showed the book was what made that quick exchange go down. I want to make it clear that although we did go through a very bad place for a while there, we are over it. That is what family does...they fight and then love, history and time heal all wounds. Little babies definitely help out with that too. Baby Nicholas is as cute as could be and we are thrilled to welcome him into this crazy family of ours. We may be a little nuts here and there, but I have to say I wouldn't trade my siblings for the world. My sisters are my best friends, and when thinking about my best friends like Teresa, they are like sisters to me too. I love each and every one of them and to quote Caroline, "We are as thick as thieves and will protect each other till the end." Sometimes a little bullshit gets in the way that's all.

Although I heard the same rumors from a couple of people, one being from Danielle, who claimed that Dina and Caroline brought the book into the salon to show it around and talk about it together...I really had NO proof of that. I was not there. It was just a rumor. What made me freak out during the finale dinner was hearing Dina say that "Her hands never touched that book" and that she had "nothing to do with it," and so on. THAT I knew to be a lie because she was the one that told me about the book, but would not reveal to me who her sources were. Dina and Caroline voted on telling Teresa when I voted against it (although we all ended up telling her together.) Also, Dina admitted to me that she told some other people about the book, as we ALL did, so I thought that she was denying all of that and wasn't being honest. I am not one to lie. That is when I snapped. They were referring specifically to the salon incident and I was referring to the book in general. It was NEVER anyone's intention to expose the book on national TV. None of us mentioned it on TV first! It was Danielle's choice to bring out the book. She felt the need to address it, because she believed that gossip about the book had been spread all over town, and bringing out the book was the only way for her to address everyone at once and clear her name. Dina only planned to bring it out at the reunion show if and ONLY if Danielle attempted to expose her with false rumors. That is the ONLY way the book would have EVER been exposed. Danielle brought it out FIRST on TV and THEN we were all asked questions about it. My sister-in-laws never wanted anyone to know that they knew about the book, but I had a strong need to let Danielle know it was out there. I felt guilty knowing about it and I also had questions about it that I wanted answered, plus I wanted to give her a chance to explain it to me from her side. I protected my sister-in-laws and told Danielle that my husband heard about it from a source that he wouldn't reveal. I told her that my sister-in-laws knew nothing about it. I didn't want to embarrass her more by letting her know how many people knew about the book. She just needed to know that it was out there. That's all! Were the contents in that book true or not or even relevant at that point in time during our dinner? I don't know, but it was important for Danielle to explain herself and I respected that and she had the right to do so. I understood that. Maybe it wasn't the best timing brining out the book during our dinner and in front of the kids, but it was known to us that this was our finale so I guess she felt like this was really her last chance to get it all out in the open and confront everyone.

People will believe what they want or not believe what they want from the book regardless of what Danielle says. Just because someone says it's true or not true doesn't necessarily make it so. People will make up their own minds and have their own opinions. Needless to say, that dinner turned ugly FAST! What the HECK was in those Bellinis?! Don't "F" with Teresa! Holy cow! That was actually the first time in seven years that I EVER even saw her even angry. It was CRAZY! I guess the anger had been building up in her toward Danielle for a while. Some of her reasons why were not discussed or shown on the show. Danielle said it herself...she likes to push buttons. NEVER tell Teresa to "Pay attention." LOL! Everyone was out of control. I'm so over it! Time to make amends and move on. I love my family and I just want peace. I adore my husband so much for trying to be supportive of everyone and for trying to keep the peace. I am so proud of him and he is the best man I know (besides my Dad) and I love him sooo much for it. I am a very lucky girl.

The family, as always, despite our little battles from time to time, is closer than ever and I am thrilled. Nothing is better than family! :o) I am so glad everyone has resolved their differences and my new son isn't being born in the middle of a shit storm. With some recent shocking developments I have cut the toxic people from my life. I'm not going to talk about it - I am just going to act on it. Let's just say I was very disappointed with people, and I regret giving them my heart and time. Because of that rejection, I am now the target of a pathological liar. Fuggetaboutit! On to a more happy, healthy life - PEACE EVERYONE!
