ok, what a finale...first Dina had mentioned in the premiere that she was hearing rumors about her and that it was coming from danielle. second, if I were in
that situation I would have done what Caroline did with the book. if it was someone I disliked and something like that book came out I would be telling
everyone. I do think that danielle has some crazy obsession with dina and that danielle picked the worst time to bring that up. teresa had every right to be as
pissed as she was maybe not flipping the table but still this was her party and it was going well until that book hit the table. the worst part about the
entire thing was when dina told danielle that she couldn't stomach her with danielle's kids right there. kudos to teresa getting her kids out of there.
I cannot wait for the reunion

Hey....good point....to come to think of it.... I never really watched TRH shows as religiously but do they always tell "What happened" to the wives on each series finale. Like how they said Caroline doesn't regret it and Teresa's preggers....that might be a bad sign for season two.. I really wish it comes back and they either keep Danielle and add another wife....or Danielle leaves if she dosent wanna continue and then add two women. Rio Vista in Alpine is 15 minutes away and the wealth of that area makes these women (even the OC bitches) look like chump change. |

I am unsure what ratings are like for shows on Bravo vs. other cable networks. But I think these Housewives shows are really popular or they wouldn't have so damn many. Too many really now with DC and Vegas upcoming (I think). And Danielle is clearly the star of this series, so hopefully if the show comes back she comes with it (if someone doesn't kill her first). |

Yes, they have been doing that at the end of the final episode for a while now...at least since I started watching.

Ok thanks....never mind then.
I think this show was definitely as interesting, if not more so, then the first seasons of OC and NY....never saw Atlanta. I just wish it (and most reality shows) were REALLY real. I know things wouldnt be good but I just hate thinking everything is fake. Like when they are out at the diner or in OC when they're out...I would totally be behind them screwing around and shit....everythings just so planned. This is definitely my favorite tho...this one and OC and the others could go away in my opinion. The only way DC will be good is if they do the right thing and get a politicians wife who was cheated on. |

I'm with those who think there's more truth to the book than Danielle admits to. It's a bit too coincidental that the ONLY things she'll
acknowledge as true (name change, arrest) are the things that are reinforced with a legal record. She knows she can't wiggle out of those two facts.
That was an awesome 10 minutes. I'm with those who can admit that they totally would've passed that book around town too. You'd have to be a saint to keep that under wraps. And not getting into right or wrong, I gotta say that Caroline handles confrontation the way I wish I could. That was just ice cold. I can never stay calm when I'm pushed. |

For me NYC is leagues better than any others.

That wasn't her main point though--she was more angry that they dragged the book out of obscurity. She's delusional to think it could have stayed buried. But you are right, Caroline was pretty calm. And she even said she was feeling the affects of the champagne moments before that. No way would I have been able to remain calm with alcohol in my system. |

Can't wait for Caroline to put Bravo in their place and see what the "If my friends at Bravo...." line is all about. Not for nothing but I feel it looks, and I know this sounds kind of crazy, but kinda like segregation in that we have three shows with just white women and then they throw in the all black Atlanta....and it has to be Atlanta of all places. I wouldnt mind it if one of the shows added a minority. Just looks cunty that no one has black/asian/spanish friends. Idk. not a big deal tho. I hope they are filming a second season right now. This one was filmed a year ago last summer....like It isnt obvious....and I doubt they would film in the winter cuz that would just be ugly and all the kids would be busy/away so unless they are filming now/about to film I dont think we'll get a second season, or at least for a while. I hope they do a real 13-15 episode season next time. Maybe even add some reality and have an episode where Caroline says "We're obviously on Bravo on this show....and so are the New York wives who we have met at parties....I think it would be fun to invite them over and let them see what our lives are like" and have an episode where they're ALL out to dinner or at least some of them. They are literally 30 minutes away from each other and if they met for dinner at, say, Riverside mall they could all be there in 15-20 mins. I think it would be kinda cool. |

I also wish we knew exactly how everyone met and how they were brought to Bravo's attention....in all the series.
Little things like are promos (in this case the shots of the girls down the shore for their bios, and the opening credits) shot before or after filming. And do any have close friends that choose not to be on the show....like is there someone in Dina's life all the time and always with her/at her house but leaves when cameras come and doesn't want anyone to talk about them. Do they say "We'll we have to put up with Danielle shes on this show too...". Kind of like when Kelly said something alone the lines of "We are not friends...I don't know you..." to Bethany. I wanted to say "You two are starts of the same show....YOU KNOW EACH OTHER" |

Jacqueline's moment was astonishing! I couldn't believe she stood up to the sisters. And bless little Teresa's heart...she doesn't like people
to point out the obvious. I love her.

danielle is a selfish mother. therefore, i LOATHE her. anything she does is colored for me by the fact that she makes it all about her, even at the cost of the
kids.
the producers had to put her up to the book on the table. who brings something like that and starts shit at a dinner party that someone ELSE is paying for? did anyone pay attention to theresa's word pronunciation when she went nuts? theresa was half in the bag. which leads me to the question, did anyone catch danielle's comment about "my kids don't see me loaded at 2 am?". it was directed at joeybagadonuts and theresa. i wonder if our little theresa is a budding alkie, and like ramona, the show keeps it hidden. i was a bit shocked at jacqueline, didn't think she had it in her to call the sisters out on their bs. a very satisfying finale. can't wait for the reunion. |

Caroline's Blog
Caroline on the finale:OK, enough small talk, let's discuss the dinner. First of all I'd like to thank Teresa and Joe again for what was supposed to be a nice dinner among friends. Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way, and it still bothers me to think about it. If you've noticed, I've been very quiet in my blog for the past six weeks in regards to Danielle. I just don't want to discuss her. She is invisible to me. I will say this: I was the one who showed the book, and I showed it to TWO people who are friends of mine. This will be addressed later in the reunion show, so watch and see. It was not done with malice, but out of concern, and fear. Guess what? I'D DO IT AGAIN. I've been getting some comments saying that I should forgive her for her past, and this is true to a degree, but there has been so much behind the scenes that the viewers don't see. My feelings towards Danielle have NOTHING to do with her past, and this too will be addressed in the reunion show. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea that I may have been protecting Dina. If you know anything about me at all, you will know I truly believe that "If you make your bed, you must lie in it." If Dina did in fact show the book I would have let her fight her own battle. She doesn't need me to lie for her, and I wouldn't have. Not my style. There was also a ot of family drama going on that day. This made me cry when I saw it played out on national TV. I will say only this - all is not as it appears. Tune in later...Dina's Blog The last supper...duhn duhn duhhhh...Jacqueline's Blog Although I heard the same rumors from a couple of people, one being from Danielle, who claimed that Dina and Caroline brought the book into the salon to show it around and talk about it together...I really had NO proof of that. I was not there. It was just a rumor. What made me freak out during the finale dinner was hearing Dina say that "Her hands never touched that book" and that she had "nothing to do with it," and so on. THAT I knew to be a lie because she was the one that told me about the book, but would not reveal to me who her sources were. Dina and Caroline voted on telling Teresa when I voted against it (although we all ended up telling her together.) Also, Dina admitted to me that she told some other people about the book, as we ALL did, so I thought that she was denying all of that and wasn't being honest. I am not one to lie. That is when I snapped. They were referring specifically to the salon incident and I was referring to the book in general. It was NEVER anyone's intention to expose the book on national TV. None of us mentioned it on TV first! It was Danielle's choice to bring out the book. She felt the need to address it, because she believed that gossip about the book had been spread all over town, and bringing out the book was the only way for her to address everyone at once and clear her name. Dina only planned to bring it out at the reunion show if and ONLY if Danielle attempted to expose her with false rumors. That is the ONLY way the book would have EVER been exposed. Danielle brought it out FIRST on TV and THEN we were all asked questions about it. My sister-in-laws never wanted anyone to know that they knew about the book, but I had a strong need to let Danielle know it was out there. I felt guilty knowing about it and I also had questions about it that I wanted answered, plus I wanted to give her a chance to explain it to me from her side. I protected my sister-in-laws and told Danielle that my husband heard about it from a source that he wouldn't reveal. I told her that my sister-in-laws knew nothing about it. I didn't want to embarrass her more by letting her know how many people knew about the book. She just needed to know that it was out there. That's all! Were the contents in that book true or not or even relevant at that point in time during our dinner? I don't know, but it was important for Danielle to explain herself and I respected that and she had the right to do so. I understood that. Maybe it wasn't the best timing brining out the book during our dinner and in front of the kids, but it was known to us that this was our finale so I guess she felt like this was really her last chance to get it all out in the open and confront everyone. For anyone who doesn't want to go through all the tl;dr, the interesting parts for me? 1. It was Danielle who made the book part of the show. 2. Jacqueline has cut someone "toxic" out of her life, and I'm thinking we can all guess who it is.
