I knew that all this pimping of Susan would backfire. They did it to Adam, and now they've done it to Susan (even though, IMHO, Susan wasn't even the
best act in the whole lot whereas Adam was the class of the field on Idol). I bet that they're going to do the same thing on America's Got Talent this
summer. Congratulations to DIVERSITY, though I bet that TPTB will still try to get Susan on the Royal Variety Show.

Nah. America's Got Talent has had the predictable uber/most pimped winner every year (expect maybe Terry). Bianca Ryan (moreso) and Neil were two of the
most pimped people on a talent show and they predictabily won.
If Susan was on AGT instead, I don't think there would be a way she lost. |

Susan's audition is still by far the best that we have seen of her, but I enjoyed her other performances, too.
I especially liked the angelic lighting with the staged all fogged up looking like the clouds of heaven.

I don't know if it's swim's outrage rubbing off on me or what...but the more I think about it the more angry I am that Susan lost. The negative
press and over-exposure did her in, but she was still far and away the most talented person there and the best story of the season.
I would have loved Stavros, but if not them it totally should have been Susan. And it's a joke that those run of the mill dancers got the win. |

LOL Yeah, cussing out some reporters??? Good for her! I think she'll be fine anyway. You can tell when Simon is listening to her, you can almost see the
dollar signs in his eyes. She especially appeals to hausfraus, kind of like Il Divo, so right up his alley. He'll have her signed to his label soon enough
and he'll rush her record out and she'll be on all the talk shows and Oprah and everything again to promote it, just watch. I predict a record ready in
time for Christmas sales.

Susan would have for sure gotten America's vote if she were over here and told some reporters to F*** off! I thought the Brits had a pretty good sense of
humor (ala Monty Python) - but apparently the people who voted were more like the Prince Charles type (humor - I think not)! Really Susan ,who wants to sing
for the Queen anyway - what is she - like 95 or something. However, singing for William and Harry who for some reason don't act like Royals or look like
them and try to keep their distance are cute guys and singing for them would have been a hoot. The dance crew was cute, very good, but nuttin special. You see
stuff like that everyday over here in the states. I especially have issues with 12 year olds flying thru the air with attitude. As a teacher for 25 years -
flying kids with attitude are not my cupa tea. The older guys were cute though. Anyway, best success for Susan from the states to across the pond.

Frankly, her foul mouth was one of the reasons we liked her to begin with.
But, don't British people always vote for the Underdog? That Hollie girl was *terrible*.

Years ago I remember how the English tabloids destroyed golfer Nick Faldo. He picked up and moved to the states. They really vilified him and he fought back
which pissed them off even worse.
Surely the American viewing public would never fall for the crocodile %*%@% of a 12 year old girl would they? Oh crap, I forgot wasn't the first America's Got Talent winner some pre teen? Shudders at stage parents. Brits however, they are fun to party with at pubs here in the states while watching their soccer team on the telly. Just duck if their team loses. Still, they have intoxicating accents. |
