Since then we've had 2 fake idols, 1 idol being used for its actual purpose, and 2 morons getting voted out without using them. If they kept the old rules, we'd be in the fifth season with it and I guarantee it still wouldn't have been used.

The problem with Parvarti's style of game play is that she is making herself a target by her alliance members and for others like Cirie. Cirie don't like other smart players in the game. That's why she got rid of Yau-Man.

But, the reason why he was able to escape the curse is because the only other person who knew he had it was his close alliance member Yau-Man. The HII can be a curse once the majority of people in the tribe finds out that you have HII. That's why both James (China) and Ozzy (Micronesia) got blindsided because everyone knew they had it. For future Survivor players...if everyone in your tribe finds out you have HII then get rid of it even if you are not in trouble. That's what Alex (Fiji) did in his season and he thought he was leaving but, he was just set up so the HII could be gone and Edgardo could leave the game instead. The fact that Ozzy had the idol wasn't exactly the best kept secret even before last week's tribal council.
