How could they, the indominable Drakes, EVER lose the first immunity challenge? It was a total mystery, yet the feeling you get those few hours before you head to Tribal Council were not. They didn't want to lose, but they were most certainly prepared to. Shawn and Rupert were starting a fire, much to the lazy Shawns disapointment, because the spring was salty. Not only that, but it probably wouldn't last the entire 42 days. Shawn:"Can you guys believe we lost to a tribe of nutcases and a tribe of old farts"? He looked around for approval, and got scattered agreements. Rupert and he continued to attempt to start a fire the old fashioned way, with obvious sucess "Ehhhhhh" slow growl ROAR! These were the sounds of two desperate men, neither of which remembered to bring glasses.It went like this for two hours Sandra and Christa took this time to leave the encampment. Sandra:So whats going on? Christa:It doesn't look good for you sweetheart. Burton,Shawn and Michelle have already formed an alliance,and I can't get anything out of Jon or Trish Sandra:They'd be fools not to align with us. Our reputation precedes us. I'm an ex winner and Rupert could play a hundred times and never win. Burton/Shawn/Michelle are unknowns and likely to hook up with other people when they get the chance Christa:I think we should try and get Michelle out tonight Sandra:Its our only angle Sandra(confessional):Its really a shame that we have to target Michelle because shes the only one in that group that I can stand. She at least has a modicum of interpersonal skills, but Jon and Trish probably want to keep the two assholes because they are strong, even though Shawn isn't They approach Rupert who abandoned the attempt fire and was drinking from the limited supply of bottled water they recieved for supplies. He was now working on the moisture vaporator, which would produce about 3 liters of fresh water a day if properly maintained. Rupert:I really have no problem with the plan, but what about Jon betraying us later? Christa:Hes in such a fucked position, that I wouldn't worry about it. Sandra:I really want to get rid of Jon, but its up to whatever you guys think is right, but if you want my two cents, it should be Jon or Michelle. Sandra:Where is the little bastard anyway? He was following "the dyanamic trio"(and Trish) to dispose of their fish. Due to the lack of refrigeration, the fish were no longer good to eat. They walked around, looking for a salt lick and maybe perhaps salvage this "last meal" before they had to dispose of a tribe mate, but there was no luck. They were looking too half heartedly, paying more attention to Jons witty anecdotes, and later, to tactics. Burton:(chortles) "I have a better story of mistaken penis identity, It all began with a digital camera..." They returned to the spring from their brief adventure amongst the dunes, and sat by the spring. Shawn(litereally on a soap box):There is absolutly no reason why either of you shouldn't align with us. Jon, they're going to boot your ass out the first chance they have, and Trish, it would be better to keep Jon as it keeps the target off your back, because thats who they're going after. Michelle:Both of you have my word that I will stick by you as long as I can, and you can't get any more honest then that Jon:I agree, and for the record, I'm utterly loyal to all of you for the time being Trish:I agree too, I think Sandra should go. Not because shes a winner, but because shes a dangerous player Jon:Alright,s Sandras out. Business is done,lets party. Rupert/Sandra/Christa approach the two with an alternate deal Rupert:"...and we would remain loyal to both of you, and those pretty boys will align with Casaya or whoever they can get their hands on the second they have the chance After a long chat, the 5 some depart to prepare for Tribal Council(Rupert:"Remember, the team comes before yourself"),and do some last minute wood chopping(there is an indiginous tree native to the area which is supposed to be susceptible to the lumber method of starting fire, and they firgure it couldn't hurt to store up) Trish and Jon discuss their options Trish:If we vote out Sandra, then we still have the chance to align with Rupert and Christa afterword, and vice versa (whisper,whisper) Trish(confessional):It is so up in the air tonight, but I think we have reached a consensus to optimize both our chances. Jon(confessional):Jonny Fairplay is in the best position yet again, we have ample opportunity to switch back between alliances and we would never burn bridges due to our reputations(well,mines anyway,lol). Trish is a great allie, and one I hope to utilize to the next stage of the game. So who to vote out,Sandra or Michelle. Sandra is a bitch, Michelle is bangable and shares the same first name of my girlfriend. Hmm? What to do, what to do, whats an evil mastermind to do? TRIBAL COUNCIL (ominous theme music) The Drake tribe walks to Tribal Council during those beautiful binary sunsets native to Tatooine. There are many lizard like creatures who are coming out to roost,as well as the ever present womp rat "You look like a womp rat Jon", Rupert mutters to himself They enter the Council,an elaborate stone structure, which looks like Jabbas palace but actually is the site of Luke Skywalkers old farm JEFF PROBST(big smile):Welcome back. If all of you would please take a torch behind you, and light it. This is part of the ritual of Tribal Council,and these torches now represent your life in this game and on this planet. Jeff: So Rupert, how was the hike to Tribal Council? Rupert:It had alot more vermin on the trail then I'm usually familar with Jeff: Was that a double entendre?(looks at Jon) Rupert:Yes Jon:You don't have to pretend to be coy Jeff, we all know you're talking about me Jeff:Jon, are you feeling better? Are you prepared for the game this time around? Jon:Locked and loaded good buddy. locked and loaded. Jeff(smiles):You have a history of avoiding answers,are you telling me that you are absolutly prepared? Jon:Out of sight,out of mind Jeff Jeff:What about you Sandra, how is this affecting your family life? Sandra:My kids are greedy little brats and said that I could drown in a sand dune or get infectuous foreign diseases as long as I brought home another million (Scattered laughter,appluse from Shawn) Jeff:Do you and Fairplay still have a budding rivalry? Snadra:You better believe it,and its not budding. We have a hate/hate relationship in full bloom, you know? Jeff:So how scared are you of your statis as a previous winner? Sandra:It scares me to death.Lets be real here, I'm one of the main targets tonight, and I can only hope for the best. Jeff:So whos the other target? (Michelle raises her hand) Jeff:Michelle, do you trust your allies right now? Michelle:Jeff,you can't trust anyone in this game, you can only hope for the best. I'm a little spitfire, and I will do anything it takes to win, but its really out of my hands. Jeff:OK, does anyone want to lobby for a particular person tonight? I should of known that little punk ass wouldn't keep his word, but thats what i get for being a naive little girl. Tatooine has beautiful sunsets and maybe sometime in the future I might come back , but noway am I coming to live here. Its pure hell after only three days. The shelter had been built, the fire was roaring, a steady supply of water was being boiled from the spring and extracted from the ground. They had all done yoga in the morning(except Rudy), and had come to the challenge in a cheerful mood. There was bitterness,how could their not be? Richard just got out of prison(note, in my world, he was released early),Stacey was screwed last time, everyone lost except Richard,everyone was a little older,the conditions were a little more brutal. However,this was a steadfast group of people,who would never give up. Down to the last man,they would fight the forces of Casaya and Drake. Sue:I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually enjoying this rice Rudy:Yeah Rudy tosses knife* Stacey(confessional):(laughs) I still don't like Rudy.Hes still very ornary and still mistreats our supplies like they were toys.I do respect him, but I want him gone. I really think we can get something together this time. Kelly:I totally want to align with you again Stacey:Me too. NOTE TO SELF AND ANY PASSERS BY:I am deeply sorry for the lack of coherency of this fanfic and the fact that it is so delayed.I suffer from whats called procrastination. However, tonight,I have a serious issue to deal with(orgy) and can't finish this at the moment.I will finish the TC tommorrow,and I suggest you read it, it is a doozy(at least for a first tc). For my next episode,I will be taking some of GuatemalaFanfics advice and putting less emphasis on the Star Wars backdrop(although it will still be present) and more importently,finish the episode on the day I write it. This is my first fanfic that I actually am in the process of writing(as far as dialogue, challenges and overall character arcs are concerned.What I don't like is my rather bland dialogue,and I will fix that. That being said, episode 2 will be available Thursday,come Hell or a high Dr Will Hatch. Any speculation on who leaves from Tagi?

He noticed the burning embers of the fire from last night, which itself was built upon a roaring fire from the night previous to that, as they were celebrating their win. Despite the jovial attitude of the camp in general, Shane still knew he was on the outer rims of the tribe power wise. He stoked the fire until it was prepared to serve out for a while, as the nights on Tatooine are cold. Shane then went for a walk to a nearby rock formation, not quite a bluff because the spring wasn't a natural body of water, it was a Force endowed gift. He walked up it, kicking a womp rat out of the way, disgusted, then admired the coming sunrise. The binary star system that sere as the suns of Tatooine provide warmth, energy, circadian rhythms,etc. They were really the only beautiful part of this hellhole of an existence. Why anyone would live here by choice, Shane would never know. Maybe the same reason people choose to live in Israel or Mecca. Why would Jabba the Hutt, a billionaire(maybe more!), live here though? Sure, he could of done it to aoid Jedi Knights, but there must be an isolated planet better then this! "An endless desert", Shane thought. "But it sure is a great place to shoot Survivor". He was lost in thought about his place in the tribe, then walked back to the hut, maybe a quarter mile away. Aras(confessional): This morning I woke up to see Shane running down a hill to our encampment, I guess he wanted something, I don't know. He crouched down near the fire, and found it, and I couldn't help but watch. "A spear", Shane shows Aras,who is still in bed. Aras gets up. "What are you going to do with that thing bro?" "What do you think I'm goig to do with it kid? I'm going to bag a bantha." "You're serious? With that thing?" "I'm right as rain Aras. We can't just keep eating rats." "Why? It worked for the Pagong tribe." "And how would you know about the Pagong tribe?" Aras laughed. "Yeah, I guess I wouldn't." They stared at eachother for a few seconds in an expression of mutual understanding. "Anyway, the point is, if we don't catch a bantha,the other tribes will. We have Grizzly Adams and Richard Hatch competing against us. We need to store up as much as we can. "Where are we going to store the meat? How are we going to preserve it"? Aras asked these questions defensivly. "There are salt deposits around here Aras." "So you are planning for this to big a big,tribal project?" "Of course. By the way, hows that fat bitch Cirie and Dollywood reject Melinda doing"? "Umm"... As big of a douche as he might be sometimes, Aras tried to keep his bad qualities in check. "They're doing alright. I don't think you have anything to worry about really. Our alliance is pretty solid. "Thats great." Shane visibly looked relieved, because he knew Aras had just as much to lose in a situation the exact opposite of last time( having Melinda and Cirie run the ruling alliance) Aras walks away. Shane(confessional): There's an impromptu alliance between myself, Aras,Courtney,Bobby and Bruce. Melinda and Cirie created an "outsiders" alliance,but I've convinced everyone that we can't fucked around like that. We'e got serious competitors who want to wipe us out, and we need all the strength we can get. Cirie can't be trusted because she almost won twice and is very inconspicuous. Melinda is just useless. [scene:Aras standing over the hut, talking to Cirie] Aras:Shane wants us to kill a bantha Cirie:Oh my, does he even have the first idea of where to begin? Aras: I think he just wants us to be "unified" in his attempt to disrupt the pace of camp events. Cirie:We're not going to do it with sticks though. How did cavemen go on with big game hunts anyway? She said this while stretching. Aras:I suppose they just drove mastadons off a cliff into a bog. I don't know anything around here like that. Does the Jundland wastes have terrain like that? I doubt it. And do we have the will to carry it all back? Cirie:You know how things run, Aras. Most "Survivor"s take place inside a national park or someplace where its restricted to mess with nature, where we can't touch the flora or fauna unless it dropped from a tree or is already domesticated to eat.
