One of Mrs. P's former college roommates who's also going to the wedding e-mailed Mrs. P the following:
Hey (Mrs. P)! I'm sure (Powers) is busy at work, but is he able to get a room with 2 beds?? Is that okay to share a room with you guys? Let me know when you can. I'd like to get it taken care of so I know what's going on. If we are bunking with you guys I might look into taking the train up. Thanks (Mrs. P)
The reason they want to share is purely financial. Neither Mrs. P nor I want to share a room, but she feels totally guilty saying no to her friend and her husband. They live in Delaware, so I doubt they'd try to drive back after the wedding if they don't share a room-not sure what their plan B is.
I see this as an enormous imposition and that she's taking advantage of Mrs. P's kindness (she's actually a really sweet person). Is this an unusual request or am I overreacting?
