I think the point of the group(s) are to keep things out of the landfills...
true.. some people have the money to just go buy what they need... others dont... and still others have some of that same stuff lying around.. and would otherwise dispose of it... very good idea in theory.. but then you get the beggars.. which is irritating... and the junk dealers, who are just dispersing junk.. I once saw a give-away ad for a bunch of empty margarine bowls.. um. no thanks.. |

Hmmm....actually...as I picture paint with latex lately....I could kinda use a ton of margarine tubs.
Disposable after I use them of course....RIGHT TO THE LANDFILL GOOPED UP WITH PAINT. :c ) |

I offered a washer & dryer on there and the people who responded never picked them up. It is time for them to go to landfill.

I think if we place them by the road one of the trash scavengers will come pick them up with their pickup trucks. Either way it is out of our garage.
