Yes except for Archie the "bashing" has come in the form of Simon telling him once that if he sang too many ballads it would get boring and dreary (which it has) and them reluctantly lightly slapping him on the wrist after he bastardized "We Can Work It Out."

For other people it's been you look like a fat ass in those hideous clothes, your performance was a nightmare, pack your bags, no one will buy your music, you're only fit for Broadway, you're pompus, smug, arrogant, indulgent, your song choice sucked and the list goes on.

My problem with the way they pimp Archie is that they gloss over pretty much anything he does wrong unless they are forced to mention it like with "We Can Work It Out." They'd crucify other people for doing some of the stuff he does.

With other people they pimped or over praised for one performance or another they've at least balanced it out with other shots at them.

To bad they don't dispatch anything to take assholes away.
