Mariah encourages him to go falsetto in the rehearsal clip. He stands centerstage, and almost hits the first line, a little shaky at the bottom of his range. Nice run at the end of the intro line, leading into the choir and a freeform melody for David heading into the chorus. It's good, it's emotional, it'll get Archtard's fans in a lather, although the falsetto sounds forced and a little weak in comparison to the strength and conviction of the rest.
