There are plenty of women with far more experience than this one and ones that don't have lives that are as controversial.

Nicknamed Barracuda on the College team and lifelong NRA member. Professional sportscaster for a few years. Businesswoman: Co-owner of a shipping company, co owner of a salmon fishing operation Intelligence: Graduated from college, snuck the governship away from two good old boys and has RUN A STATE FOR TWO YEARS with the love of the people. (Neither, biden, obama, nor mccain have run anything BY THEMSELVES). Ran a town for 6 years. Yes, weak in foreign policy Feminine: Beauty pagent winner and mom. Actuallyused her scholarship money to go to college. Plus she is feisty and assertive without being shrill. Practices what she preaches: Prolife and carried her Downs baby to term KNOWING of the challenge. Married for 20 plus years. Eloped to save parents wedding money. Patriotic: Son going to Iraq. Breath of fresh air.

What kind of family values is it for this chick to ditch a wee special needs baby? She could have given him up for adoption if she wasn't interested in being his mother. This isn't the same thing as a working mom taking their kid to the neighborhood daycare. She will be gone from his life. Or perhaps she'll pimp him out and drag him along for the ride, uggh. I'm thinking something must be hiding in Kay Bailey Hutchinson's background check that didn't pass muster. She's gracious, smart, well-spoken, an obvious choice.

Some of us actually do think of COUNTRY FIRST. Let's say McCain wins the election and on January 21, 2009, he drops dead of a heart attack. Probably she flunked the party's Roe v. Wade litmus test. She is not in favor of overturning R v. W and is against outlawing abortion. She was also once prosecuted by Ronnie Earle (although that's sort of a rite of passage for conservatives in Texas) but I don't think that would be an issue.

I'm more disgusted that my gender could be first represented in a high office by this joke. Shit, at least Hillary and other women in national offices worked for it. Gosh, I guess it just matters that she's a woman that carries an NRA card plus she's HAWT! But aside from gender issues, it's REALLY disturbing to see that article a few pages back that shows her complete ignorance of national issues. It'd also be great to have someone else who pulls the "executive privilege" shit that Bush always does when he's obviously covering something up. Anyone that votes for that ticket must be really short-sighted and/or entirely ignorant.
