Yes, to the liberals, who weren't going to vote for him anyway. I think she's a great choice.Hmm. I don't think it's only the liberals. But we'll have to see.

I'm actually voting for McCain now, unless he pisses me off again. Yesterday, I planned to vote third party.

I'd just like to say that the idea that Hillary supporters will vote for this nut-du-jour is more than laughable, it's insulting.

hillary supporters won't and the media will play with that and say they are. anyway. whatever.

Sorry Ruggy, but that's not really true at all. But I do appreciate how you make lemons out of lemonade. Thats a good trait to have!
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I predict Hillary will now campaign her ass off for Obama. SHE is supposed to be the first woman elected to the White House, not some no-experience woman from outer Mongolia. She will do everything in her power to prevent that, trust me. She does not want that honor to go to a pro-lifer and a creationist. Having followed this woman's career for twenty years, you can take this to the bank. Hill will fight tooth and painted nail. Whether Hill's supporters follow her is another matter.

This pick appeals more to the conservatard base than it does Hillary supporters. Rush and Laura Ingraham have been pitching her for weeks.
On Wednesday, townhall.com had this poll: Who should McCain select as his running mate? Mitt Romney (40 %) Kay Bailey Hutchison (21 %) Sarah Palin (21 %) Other (10 %) Joe Lieberman (4 %) Tim Pawlenty (4 %) Tom Ridge (1 %) So she was basically tied as the second favorite among all the major possibilities. She's really not that unknown among the rabid conservatives that McCain was leaving uninspired. Picking Romney would have pandered in the same way, but why choose him when you can choose an Alaskan Glam Goddess as the same thing with added bonuses? <3 Besides his money of course.

I wish he had chosen Other. I heard he's strong on foreign policy.

Outer Mongolia furnishes a lot of energy. How much does Delaware have?

Oh good grief, Ruggy there are high schools with bigger populations than the town she was mayor of. Her husband working for BP is a clear conflict-of-interest
with her shaping our national energy policy.

Outer Mongolia furnishes a lot of energy. How much does Delaware have? Fuck energy. Without Delaware, we wouldn't even have a United States. Or banks. And Delaware gave America its first white trash. So don't you even diss Delaware. |

Didn't Palin say she was the daughter of two schoolteachers? Wiki says her mom was a school secretary. If true, that's some pretty damning stuff. |
