I will give her credit, that one line in her speech was perfect! Were you just voting for her because she was a woman, or were you voting for her because of
the issues?!

I'm so happy to know that a diehard Hillarite feels vindicated in his support of possibly the most vain twunt ever to schmooze her way through all the special interest groups (including you 'mos) into a major political campaign. Until a republican even SAYS the word 'gay' and 'homosexual' in a way that's not accompanied with a sneer, then I don't think any of what you have said is neccessarily a bad thing for me. And just so you know, I was called sexist earlier today for criticizing Hillary, so I guess I just can't win for trying to be rational. That's true, but he didn't LOSE so he doesnt have to sell another candidate to that automatic base. Ultimately its about the larger picture, and she made a convincing case that you would have to be a truly jaded, bitter twat to jump parties and vote for a man not for women's right and Democratic issues.

GoodNeighborgirl wrote:Are you talking about the black woman on CNN? Seriously she must be IN LOVE with Hillary Clinton. It's amazing how much people talk about Obama supporters drinking kool-aid and caught up in a cult of personality when there seems to be a number of Hillary supporters like her that can't even process what Hillary tells them about how their lives will get worse if they don't vote for Obama like she wants them to. And as a Hillary hater, I must fess up that I thought Hillary did a great job. Too bad Bill didn't drop dead a couple weeks ago so she had a chance of being selected as veep. |

Whereas Hillary can float to the nomination in 2012 by guilt triping everyone into voting for her for making a mistake the last election <3. Hillary will never be president. Ever. Hillary became a Senator to become President. 7 years down the tubes. She accomplished no significant legislation in the Senate. She doesn't leave a mark on history except her obnoxious, sociopathic personality. She will be forever known as DIVISIVE. |

Hillary has already gone down in history. She may settle for eventually never wanting to be president. Frankly, she's gotten the juice out of this whole
primary cycle. Would you want to clean up Dubya's awful mess?

Hillary can have a far more powerful job in the Obama administration than a VP would be if she wants it.

meatball, I think you cracked the code. Hillary's totally on Obama's cabinet in some capacity. I wouldnt be surprised if there was already a deal in
place and Hillary needs to go sell it to her supporters.
By the way, is Chris Matthews on drugs or something? |

With this speech what happens is that after Ted Kennedy dies then Hillary will become the lioness of the Senate and possibly Senate Majority Leader. She has an outside chance at becoming a Supreme Court appointment. But she will never, ever, ever be president of the United States. |

Gregoire wrote: That's fair, but I'm still surprised that you buy into her very carefully crafted personality cult at all. Hillary is willing to destroy her own party in order to gain power. There are so many better (by which I mean more electable) alternatives, but she's just batshit, and she uses all the special interest clout she can get her greedy little claws on. I just want the major parties to give me somebody I can vote for without feeling like I've chosen the least of many evils. Obama seems like a cool enough guy, but he's an empty suit with a bad tendency towards floppery. McCain is better than Dubya (but then so is merkyl) and knows his shit, but the insistence on the Pro Life thing and a refusal to admit that queers can be families just kinda bugs the fuck out of me. |

I love how everyone is bitching about the Hillary bitter supporters. Of course we are fucking bitter. Did you expect us to be singing Kum Ba Ya and wanting to
hold hands with you Obamaniacs and dance around a fire together? No. I am absoultely bitter and I personally don't give a shit. You tards would have been
just as bitter if the roles were reversed. Sad part is, you can't even admit it.
ETA: I am also doing what Hillary wants. She said it herself. McCain brings a lifetime of experience to the white house, whereas Obama brings a speech he made in 2002 that was probably written for him. Nothing that she is being forced to say now can change my mind about it.

No, I have no sympathy for you. I was a Hillary supporter, voted her twice into a senatorial seat, voted her for president and was crestfallen to find her
playing nasty politics and encouraging division in the Democratic party. That's why I signed on to Obama and understand there are greater issues involved
here. Obama is not a perfect candidate but in the aggregate is a better overall candidate than Old Man Winter.
Sometimes your team loses but at the end of the game you all shake hands. All you're doing is harboring a grudge for something that is only destructive and divisive. How anybody who believes in the spirit of Hillary Clinton's campaign could even entertain voting for McCain or even staying home is absurd and sad and frankly shows that you don't care for your country, but only for your ego. |

If Hillary won, I would have rolled my eyes and said: same old shit.
But I think one day the Hillary hags will wake up and realize that Hillary wasn't such a great candidate. What was the fuss about? If she was great, people would have sent her more money. Instead, she had to borrow money. She sucks. She can't even manage her money. |

However, when she got the shaft not once, but twice (the VP nod) there is no way I can support anyone who discredited 18 million people's votes If you seriously thought Obama would offer her the vice president spot -- and that she would have actually accepted it -- means you don't really know Hillary and you certainly don't understand American politics very well. |

Did you *REALLY* think she was going to get the VP nod? Seriously?
