Somebody's not having a good month! Wasn't he just involved in a hit and run?
Robert Novak Brain Tumor Diagnosed Robert Novak was admitted yesterday to a Boston hospital where he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. In a written statement given to his publisher, Novak said: "On Sunday, July 27, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I have been admitted to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where doctors will soon begin appropriate treatment. "I will be suspending my journalistic work for an indefinite but, God willing, not too lengthy period."

Place your bets; will Novak or Kennedy go first?

You generalize conservatives, don't complain when it happens to liberals.

I do? According to ragslag all I do is ad hominem attacks. It's a paradox.
But to clarify, when I call ragslag a moron, I'm not calling ALL conservatives morons. Just raggy. And when one soldier lies to his family and his stupid wife propagates said lie across the USA, I'm calling him a stupid douchebag and his wife a braindead clown, not EVERY soldier and his wife. |

Bush Leaving $490 BILLION Deficit For Next Prez The new president will get a very special gift from the George W. Bush Administration next year: an all-time record deficit of $490 billion American dollars, or "nine Euros." Before Bush took office in 2001 the federal budget deficit didn't exist, but there was a surplus of $230 billion in the budget |

I love that Obama is criticized for not having ENOUGH of a lead.

wtf is a LIKELY voter?
According to gallup, it's a less accurate and useless jerk off that gives losers a sense of hope: The value of looking at likely voters this far out ahead of the election is generally in the category of interesting, advisory information. The vote intentions of the pool of likely voters months before an election shows the potential that voter turnout can have on the popular vote outcome, but is not a predictor of what that turnout will look like on Election Day. So, as a rule of thumb, registered voters are the relevant group to trend to establish basic patterns of change in voter support for presidential candidates. Likely voter modeling at this point is an additional analytic tool. The analysis of the results of a registered and likely voter model shows how voter preferences might change given certain assumptions. The registered voter number, which would be equivalent to all eligible voters turning out, generally produces more stable estimates. This is the number that Gallup's Daily tracking poll has reported to date. The likely voter model gives a sense of what voter preferences might look like if those most likely to vote -- based on their current interest in the election along with their past voting behavior -- voted. The likely voter group measures hypothetical turnout "if the election were held today" with the understanding that conditions will change between now and the election, and knowing that well-designed and executed opinion polls can only measure the current state of affairs and not project many months into the future. |

Why doesn't Obama have a ten point lead? A twenty point lead? A forty point lead? The fact that anybody is voting for McCain means Obama is an empty suit
and MCCAIN WILL BE THE WINNER.

Why does it matter if we're looking at likely voter polls or otherwise. We don't have national elections and national polls don't matter no matter
who's polled. But it's sad to see Obama's lead slip everso.
