The same was said about Bill Clinton and before that Reagan and Carter. You can verify with TRho but I suspect the same was said about Kennedy and Eisenhower. Its cute to see the chil'ren get excited for the first time though. HEY! I was in diapers when Eisenhower was in office. John Kennedy is the last candidate whose follower's trancelike fervor matched that of Obama, imo. It had nothing to do with ability, and everything to do with inspired oration. |
