Eliza's Final Words
She went out with a bang and even played a fake Hidden Immunity Idol. Now, Eliza laughs at herself and hopes that one of the Fans will make it through to the
end.

"I can't believe Jason really thought that stick was the real hidden immunity idol but he did. I knew it was a stick, but I had to play it anyway, out Ozzy for having the real one, and hopefully now people will do something about it. Get rid of Ozzy, guys. Come on! Be smart."
(cut)
"I think my fate was sealed as of today. I don't think there was anything I could have done differently to make people vote with me. I don't think Natalie and Alexis and Erik were prepared to force a tie and pick rocks on my behalf when they saw that they could get themselves another day farther in this game by voting me out. I think today there was nothing more I could have done. Too bad that immunity idol wasn't real because we could have shocked them."
(cut)
"I think out of the favorites left, I'd rather see one of the fans take it home than any of the five favorites left."
(cut)
"Not too much to say to the former Malakal members. I hope the fans can pull something and get rid of you guys. No offense, but yeah. Good game."
Tribal Council Voting
Survivors cast their votes and send one person to the Jury.
Amanda (Eliza with a heart): Eliza, I think you're a great girl, you just kind of played a bad social game this time. I really respect you as a person and good luck with everything. (blows a kiss)
Natalie (Eliza): You spoke out of both sides of your mouth one too many times. You're a really sweet girl, but not credible.
Erik (Eliza): I'm voting for Eliza. Jason, if you want to try and take down Ozzy by yourself, go ahead and dig your own grave. That's a losing hand. Eliza, I can't trust you, and luckily this vote coincides with my conscience as well as my strategy tonight. See you later.
Cirie (Eliza): Eliza, Eliza, Eliza. You can't have 7 cards in a game of 5 card draw. No one will ever believe you. See you when I get out.
Ozzy (Eliza): I think the reasons are obvious, and...yeah, the reasons are pretty obvious.
Alexis (Eliza): Sorry, lady. It's not personal, I just couldn't trust you in this game.
James ("Aliza"): (says nothing)
Eliza (Ozzy): They're idiots if they don't get rid of you as soon as they can. I hope something miraculous happens with the stick and you're voted out, not me.
Jason (Ozzy): Tonight, my vote is for Ozzy. You're the strongest competitor in the game, and hopefully what I gave to Eliza is the real hidden immunity idol and you'll be going home tonight. I can't wait to see the look on your face if it is you.
Parvati (Eliza): It was your bad luck to pick the wrong girl to mess with. Sorry to see you go, but I hope you learned from your mistakes the second time around.
Secret Scene: Eliza
Eliza showcases her acting chops, moping about camp as the girl who knows she's getting voted out at Tribal Council.
(Parvati offers Alexis and Eliza coconut milk; they say no)Eliza (solo): Everyone else here is voting for me, but I just found out Jason put the hidden immunity idol in my bag, so I will be pulling it out and playing it at tonight's Tribal Council. We're gonna play it and vote out Ozzy tonight. I'm going to play it up like, "I can't believe I'm leaving. There's no scrambling because it's a done deal."
(Eliza asks Cirie if there's anyone she can talk to about staying; Cirie says no, since Jason won immunity; Eliza looks sad)
Eliza (solo): I said to Cirie, "Is there anything I can do?" and she said no. I got all teary-eyed and pulled out the fake %!$+* and said I can't believe I'm going. Oh yeah, I'm playing it up.
(Eliza says she's going and she knows it's her own fault; Cirie hugs her)
Eliza (solo): This is going to be golden. This is going to be the best Tribal Council I've ever been at. I can't believe this is going to go down and Ozzy's cocky ass is going to get voted out of here.
Jason Before Tribal Council
Beating Ozzy in the first Individual Immunity Challenge of the season and possessing what he thinks is the Hidden Immunity Challenge, Jason gloats about his position in the game and his plan to blindside Ozzy at Tribal Council.
"This morning, I walk down the trail to go to the bathroom, and I'm walking past where I stashed the hidden immunity idol. It's just laying there. I put it in a hole and apparently a crab was living in the exact same hole. The crab was able to push out the hidden immunity idol and it was laying in plain sight. I pray to God no one found it. I saw that Ozzy was down the beach that way. It was pretty dark so I'm hoping he just walked right past it. It definitely gave me the heebie-jeebies seeing it out there, so I moved the hidden immunity idol to a new location where I'll retrieve it before Tribal Council."(cut)
"Right now after winning the immunity challenge, the plan is that Erik, Eliza, and myself will vote for Ozzy tonight. We're assuming Eliza is getting the seven other votes, so I'm giving Eliza my hidden immunity idol so that it cancels out the votes towards her, and that sends Ozzy home with three votes."
(cut)
"I think it's a pretty sure plan unless Erik has been playing me the past day and a half. I hope that's not true but now that I have the immunity necklace I feel it's a foolproof plan. I told Erik we have a guaranteed final four if we stick to this plan. He should see things my way."
(cut)
"I think right now, especially since I won the immunity necklace, that Erik is gonna take my side on things. I'd be happy to go to the final four with him. Yeah, I feel pretty confident about the plan we have."
(cut)
"Beating Ozzy in the immunity challenge has been the highlight of the game for me. To watch Ozzy compete throughout his season and perform so well in all the immunity challenges, it was just astounding to come out here and dominate Ozzy at a water challenge, which he thinks he's so good at. There's a new competitor in town. He's not the only one out here who can spear fish, and he's not the only one who can compete well in these individual immunity challenges."
(cut)
"When Ozzy and I went spear fishing together, it was great to know I could pick it up just as well as him. I had no previous experience in spear fishing, yet I was able to catch just as many fish as him. It was a really good moment for me, proving to myself and the tribe that Ozzy's not the only one out here who knows how to use the spear."
(cut)
"I think I've already given Ozzy a run for his money. Ozzy losing the immunity challenge today is going to be the fact that takes him out of the game."
(cut)
"I think Ozzy is way too confident in this game, and hopefully the vote tonight totally blindsides him and he goes home feeling totally depressed and didn't know what was coming."
(cut)
"With the hidden immunity idol, I'm not sure if I'm going to give it to Eliza before Tribal Council, or during Tribal Council. I'm not gonna take my bag to the Tribal Council tonight, I think that might look fishy. If I'm able to stash the hidden immunity idol on my body, I'll do that, because I would like to break out the hidden immunity idol during Tribal Council and physically hand it to Eliza instead of Eliza being able to take it out of her bag. I think it'd be way more of an upset if I say, 'Here's the idol Jeff, and I'm giving it to Eliza.'"
(cut)
"It's a bit dangerous taking it out and passing it on to another person so I'm going to try to devise a plan where I can strap the hidden immunity idol to my body somehow and take it to Tribal Council undiscovered. Then when the time is right I'll take it out, give it to Eliza, and hopefully blindside everyone on the new Dabu tribe."
(cut)
"Way different than how I've been feeling the past 24 hours. I was a bit worried about how things were going to go down today and I was really counting on winning the immunity challenge, and now I'm sitting pretty. The plan I have with Erik and Eliza is I feel is pretty safe, and to be sending home Ozzy, one of the greatest competitors in this game, will be one of the highlights out here for me."
(cut)
"I think the necklace looks great on me and I could get used to wearing it. I don't see too much other competition out here that's worthy of winning the other immunity challenges. I'm not too worried about James. He's not too good in the water. I'm not too worried about Erik. He's not too good in the water. The girls, they don't scare me too much either. I feel confident I can continue to win these individual immunity challenges."
Dabu Goes Skinny Dipping
Frolicking in the moonlit waters, the Survivors let their guards down and go skinny-dipping after their merge feast.
Parvati: Ozzy, ready for skinny-dipping?
Ozzy: Yes.
Amanda: Let's do it!
Alexis: I'm feeling a bit of peer pressure right now.
(everyone but Cirie proceeds to strip off and go into the water, hugging, laughing, and drinking; Cirie waves to them)
Cirie: If our new tribe wants to get drunk and go skinny dipping, so be it. You only live once. I'm not gonna do it, but if that's what they wanna do to have fun, let 'em have fun. They're all like 12 anyway. I'm just hoping a shark might eat 3 or 4 of them. (something about "narrow" I didn't hear, as she's laughing)
Amanda (solo, with bikini top on): I'm feeling excellent. I've got James and Parvati back. I've got my little clan back together. I've got my fun buddies. The only frustrating thing is Ozzy and I have to play dumb. We've obviously got a connection and obviously really like each other and can't show that in front of all these new people because we can be considered a double threat. We just have to play it cool and that's really frustrating.
Erik on the Merge
Erik barely slipped through the last Tribal Council. Watch now as he describes the excitement of making it to the merge and the future possibilities of the game.
"We're starting to come around the corner on the new beach, and I'm like, 'Thank God this is not Airai.' I know the horizon line of Airai, and this is not Airai. Then we see the other tribe there and we know they've left their beach as well. This could be good, this could be promising. We start to go into this little cove and I think well we look up and there's a platter, there's a nice table of food. That usually means something good is coming."
(cut)
"I didn't know what to eat first. I ate three or four different pieces of meat in about 30 seconds. I didn't even know. I was just grabbing food. I had barbecue sauce all over my face, my hair, my chest. It was brilliant. Just to taste cheesecake, I would kill somebody for cheesecake right now. You don't understand that sitting home. The people here would kill somebody for cheesecake or chocolate. Even just a little smidge. It's a breathtaking experience. Food has never tasted as good after starving for 22 days out here. It's amazing. The first 5 minutes of the food you are in heaven, in perfect ecstasy. No drugs are involved, no booze is involved, no moment of truth, nothing. It's just pure physical nourishment for your body."
(cut)
"We had barbecued ribs, we had a big platter of fish, but I'm like screw those fish, we don't need fish for now, we can catch 'em. We had barbecued ribs, we had fish, we had buffalo wings, oh we had buffalo wings out there. We had two cheesecakes, blueberry and strawberry. We had a big thing of chocolates. The chocolate went so fast. We had potatoes. Potatoes are amazing, they're not coconuts. Lastly we had a big bucket of bat. That was kind of confusing because there's this one centerpiece with a leaf over it. We move the leaf and there's hairy bat, this one bat with his tongue sticking out. I'm like I don't know if I'm gonna eat a bat right now, but if that's your thing, go ahead and dig in on some bat. And then all kinds of juice. There was a big tank of beer, wine, pomegranate, all these amazing fruits we've never been able to find out here, but they're there. I've never had a date before. I always thought they were bitter but actually they were really good. It was just a spread. That was a feast. It was so good to have that."
(cut)
"I looked over to the Airai outrigger, and Alexis had a big smile on her face. So did Jason. They saw me and my big dumb hair. I'm pretty sure they thought I was dead. They probably thought I was dead last night. They just smiled when they saw me. I knew they were looking at me, it wasn't the chickens or the tarp or the other stuff. They were just ecstatic. I saw them yell, wave, 'Hi, how you're doing, can't believe you're alive.' I think we're on the same page. I think when we come together we'll be on the same page with this."
(cut)
"I thought for sure I would never seem my Airai members again until the reunion or after everything was over. I felt like I would be leaving them out high and dry by not surviving. I have a great sense of pride in the fact I was able to survive, a great sense of wonder in that I was able to survive. I want to do well for the fans. I want to be a team for the fans. There's only four of us now. We're dwindling in numbers. There's only four of us now. We have to prove something and I know it meant a lot to them to see me in the boat. I know it meant a lot to them to see me come over."
(cut)
"The last Tribal Council set a precedent that fans vs favorites might not be the case. It said some of the bottom rung favorites are going to use fans to jump up in the rankings of the favorites. We can be like pawns to help them get ahead in the rankings. Obviously to people like Eliza, who everybody doesn't like and possibly wants out first, it would be beneficial to her to turn to the fans for numbers to help her get higher up. In terms of strategy, I need to look at this as people are going to use me as a pawn, a stepping block, a tool to help themselves get further, but at the same time you need to be looking out for yourself, or looking out for the fans."
Eliza the Day After
By the merge, Eliza didn't have any other way to play the game. Did her reputation hurt her the second time around? Was it difficult to connect with the other players? Find out now!
"It was not easier the second time around. I thought it would be. I guess at first it was in terms of the camp life, but it was no easier getting along with the people or making alliances this time around."(cut)
"I never have and never will be the type of person who can just sit back and let things happen. I always want to be thinking one step ahead, I always want to know what's going on, be checking up on things, be thinking of different scenarios. I have a lot of trouble sitting back and letting things happen.
(cut)
"In my everdyay life I make new friends on a daily basis. Even standing in a line at the post office or at airport security. I think I'm likeable, friendly. Somehow every time I come on the game of Survivor I have difficulty bonding with the people who I'm surrounded by."
(cut)
"I just love the game of Survivor. The reason I didn't have a moment's hesitation when I was called to be asked to come back and play was I love this game. I love the game of Survivor so much. I like the social aspects. I like trying to read people and figure out their next move. I love the challenges. I love the dynamics. I love the feeling of winning something. It's a great game and that's what my motivation was."
(cut)
"The hardest part of the game for me is having to interact with people and pretend to like them when in my normal life I was with someone I didn't like I would turn and walk away. I wouldn't have to pretend to like them and smile when I was around them and be friendly and act like I was interested in talking about the things they're talking about. It drove me a little bit crazy being in the game with people who talked about facials and microderm abrasion and colonics and all the spa treatments they were going to get when they got home. I have nothing in common with these people who are exactly my age. I have nothing in common with them, I have nothing to talk to them about. Kind of a feeling of isolation even when you're in a group of people is the hardest part for me."
(cut)
"I think the turning point for my game, even though there were a few subsequent to that, was when Cirie decided she was going to side with James, Parvati, Amanda, and Ozzy, instead of me, Yau-Man, Ami, and Jonathan. Cirie's decision put us in the bottom half, very low in the pecking order. I was actually supposed to be the first person voted off but because of my alliance with Cirie prior to that she told the other group she wouldn't vote with them unless they voted off Yau-Man before me. I guess I got saved but it was still really a low point knowing they were debating who should be going home, me or Yau-Man, and knowing I could be the second favorite voted out of the game."
(cut)
"My reputation did have an effect on my game. I think people saw me as a strong gameplay, as someone who would change things up if they felt if they were at the bottom of an alliance, which is what happened back on Vanuatu. I think people felt threatened by that, especially when they found out I was talking, since I was on the bottom of an alliance. I think nobody felt like they could trust me."
(cut)
"By the time the merge happened, and Ami was voted off, there was pretty much nothing I could do to stay in the game. No one believed I would be loyal to them. No one was willing ot force a tie to save me. At final ten there was nothing left for me to do. I felt like I had exhausted all my options when I was voted off, which is why I'm OK with where I was voted off, because I felt like there was nothing I could have done."
(cut)
"I'm the same Eliza that came here. I think everything impacts your life, changes you some, but I don't think I've changed as a person due to my experience, my 24 days on the island. I think this time I wasn't as naive as the last time. I was right not to trust the people I didn't trust, but unfortunately the way the chips fell I didn't have enough people that could be on my side. No, I don't really think I change that much this time."
The Joy of Sleeping Alone
The puzzles never end in Survivor. The Mayor spends the day preparing for their first jury appearance.
Eliza (solo): I got Ponderosa mail today. The first hint was in my tent, and then I had to find a tree with legs. (Eliza finds the tree) I found the clue that said tonight someone would be joining me, and this would be my last night of solitude here at Ponderosa. (Eliza reads the clue, then we see her on a blanket at the beach) My plan for the day is I'm going to try on a bunch of different outfits and decide what I'm going to wear for my first appearance as a jury member. (Eliza puts on various outfits, marveling at being flat-chested) I think it will be interesting to see if the tribe dynamics have changed at all, if the fans are integrating more with the favorites. (She puts on Crest White Strips in the bathroom mirror, then she's shown with a cloak over her head, going to the boat) It will be interesting to see who people think their allies are and who their allies really are. I think whoever it is will be really happy to see all the food we have here and all the snacks and candy and peanut butter and all you can imagine. I think they're going to start gorging themselves much like I did when I was voted off. It will be interesting to have some company.
(Eliza on the boat, says she's excited; the last shot is of Eliza in a turquoise top and denim short skirt, being introduced by Jeff as the first juror)
