In seriousness, I agree. I hate Prince-speak sort of texting shorthand. I won't do it in email, or IMs or Texting. It's just horribly unpleasing to my
eye. I never even get tempted to do it, and on my phone it fills in 'you' when I type a y in text anyway, so it's not like it would save time.
