Sounds like Parv has to choose between her alliances. I wonder why so soon. Jason is the one who is desperate for friends and allies, but I don't what the
ultimate sacrifice will be. Maybe giving up II to gain safety down the line (that would be really stupid).

If Parv must betray an alliance, James or Ozzy goes. However, that seems dumb stategically (levelling FvF 4-4) and too obvious after Parvati's pickle this
week.
Jason has no allies - he should be safe. Alexis or Amanda could have to break a promise to Erik. I bet Cirie and Parv would love to boot him if Jason if immune.

"One Castaway, desperate for friends and allies, makes the ultimate sacrifice in exchange for promises of safety from every single tribe mate"
This confuses me. What can anyone do to ensure that EVERYBODY doesn't vote for them. Again, I don't know what the ultimate sacrifice could be (maybe giving up the HII or II???). |

craig wrote: Well Cirie's bid to out the HII would force Parv to chose between her alliances. She either has to dump the first one by voting out Ozzy or betray the girls by explaining why she doesn't want to use the opportunity or possibly voting one of them. And yes, not booting a fan would be a mistake, numberswise. |

if they plot to get rid of the HII, ozzy obviously lost IC.. parv is definitely the first one, but what confuses me is what is the ultimate sacrifice.. maybe
the blunder, and jason giving up immunity this episode then gets voted out.. i dont know.. but no one would give up the immunity necklace..
what im thinking is neither ozzy or jason won immunity.. and the girls alliance are all set to vote ozzy out, but suddenly ozzy feels he is the one setup for the vote, so he uses the HII and he and james votes for jason thats why jason goes home.. but i dont see the blunder there.. dont know.. hahaha |

Maybe the ultimate sacrifice is that Jason promises that if the others spare him for one more TC he will sit out every future individual IC for as long as he
is still in the game. Might be tempting for the others to take him up on that given his competitive nature and status as an Immunity threat. It might even be
something of a smart move.

Shot in the dark, but maybe the outsider is Ozzy after he realizes everyone wants to get rid of him and the idol... so maybe he decides to get rid of his HII
in exchange for safety?

Do you remebr last night's preview. The thing that struck me the most was when Ozzy and James were talking and Ozzy says "Outwit and Outlast."
and then James responds by emphasizing the word "Outplay" like that is the key word. Methinks, ozzy is feeling like he's in the pickle and is
tempted to do something drastic in order to make himself less of a threat in order to stay longer in the game.
The first one refers to a her, which is a dead giveway for Poverty. |

He indeed "Sacrifices immunity". One of the threads has a new description from somewhere, may be a topic over at MESS.

hey.. just got to watch the replay, first scene is about the RC.. the second scene is "ozzy with a big lead", im just thinking this is the RC because
he's got alexis behind like it was a team game as it is in a RC.. so third scene is "this is the prime opportunity to get rid of the idol and
ozzy", what i'm thinking is ozzy obviously didnt win immunity which make me come up with this...
a) if ozzy didnt win, and jason wins again which i would hate to see him dominate king ozzy again at IC, then erik is next to go if they would blindside ozzy and ozzy plays the idol at the last minute.. but ozzy could go if the biggest blunder is next episode.. b) or, if the IC is the traditional Q&A elimination where everytime you get a correct answer you get a chance to eliminate others.. obviously jason/ozzy wouldn't win this IC, so fever would be right in saying jason is "early jury", atleast maybe they would get rid of the idol, and if ever ozzy.. if ozzy's teams win at the RC which i think they would, id say im looking forward on seeing the next stage of the ozzy/alexis/amanda trio.. Lol |

last thing before sleep.. Lol
maybe jason wins IC next episode, erik is out and maybe the idol is out too.. then episode 11 is a shootout between jason and ozzy where ozzy finally beating jason at the IC to see him voted off... that is before or after the james medevac though.. |

It's pretty clear what shoud happen next episode. It's the big blunder that Probst has mentioned.
1. Jason goes to Exile Island 2. The team of Ozzy/Amanda/James/Erik win the RC and enjoy the feast and show on Yap Island. 3. While they are gone, Cirie/Parvati/Alexis/Natalie devise a plan to either blindside Ozzy or flush the HII. Either way they win since they know that if Ozzy plays the idol either Jason or Erik will get the next highest votes. 4. When Jason returns from Exile Island, C/P/A/N tell Jason of their plan to guarantee that they get a majority of votes for Ozzy 5. Jason wins individual immunity 6. Having no allies and thinking that he is probably safe, Jason is willing to give up the HII in exchange for a majority of the others to not vote for him 7. Ozzy decides to pay the HII since he is not immune and Eliza told everyone that he has it. 8. Jason is voted out since the idol play negates the votes against Ozzy and at least Ozzy/Amanda/James voted for Jason

This theory is really solid except one thing is bugging me. Jeff said that when we see how the real immunity idol is played - our jaws are going to drop.
(don't make me dig up the quote I'm too tired - editted for the purpose of being thorough).
Plain old playing the idol and avoiding elimination isn't exactly jaw dropping - Yau-Man already did that. Here's the paragraph - courtesy of Survivor Fever.

The one thing Yau Man did that was not exactly jaw dropping was that he was using the II as a bargaining chip with Dreamz. There's no rule whatsoever
against doing that even though and it was done before. The only good that came out of that was how Drwamz got screwed over when he didn't keep his word and
lost votes over it.
When I think jaw dropping, I'm thinking that maybe Ozzy purposefully loses IC in order to see one of alliance member wins so that he keeps his four member allice strong only to be screwed over by them by figuring out that two of them are out to get him. That may be jaw dropping to me as he is an extremely competitive player and an immunity hog. |

(don't make me dig up the quote I'm too tired - editted for the purpose of being thorough). The difference in the two situations is that when Yau-man played the HII and the vote bounced onto Stacy, she hadn't given away the Immunity necklace like I expect that Jason will do. I could see Jeff thinking that giving up Immunity and then getting voted out is a bigger blunder than James not playing the idols. A situation where the player that won immunity and then was voted out hasn't happened before and considering this to be jaw dropping is within the realm of Probst's hype about previous seasons. There is a clue at Survivor Phoenix (please refer to that thread) with a picture of Jeff holding the voting urn with a title of "Survivor First". My spec. is that this Phoenix clue is referring to Jason getting voted out even though he won the Immunity Challenge. The only part of my expected scenario that I don't have an answer for is who Jason gives the necklace to. It can't be Ozzy.

If Jason gives up immunity and then gets voted out, then he would be one of the Top 5 dumbest players in the history of Survivor.... especially if you combine
that with him believing a stick was the HII.

He wouldn't be "one of", I think he hands down WOULD be the dumbest player ever. That's what I was originally going to say, but then I remembered Ian, Colby, Stephenie, Rafe, Lex, Brandon, etc. Anyway, it looks like someone DOES give up immunity: A TRIBE PROMISE LEADS ONE CASTAWAY TO MAKE THE ULTIMATE SURVIVOR SACRIFICE IN EXCHANGE FOR SAFETY, ON "SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA -- FANS VS. FAVORITES," THURSDAY, APRIL 17 "I Promise..." - Desperate for friends and allies, one castaway sacrifices immunity in order to stay in the game. Meanwhile, another castaway has made promises to too many friends, forcing an alliance betrayal at Tribal Council, on SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA - Fans vs. Favorites, Thursday, April 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. |

A TRIBE promise? I was going to say that Jason or Erik probably gave up immunity to someone like Parvati to worm their way into the main alliance, but it seems
like it's more of a group decision.
The second part is obviously Parvati, as she's the one double-dealing left and right. |
