After this forum had withered, after witnessing the carnage and destruction, the dust and the tears, I supported this administration's pledge to start lists and root out those who would protest in the name of love threads, and I would willingly start up lists myself to prevent such tragedy from happening again. I don't oppose all lists. And I know that in this crowd today, there is no shortage of listmakers, or of listmaking ability.

What I am opposed to is a dumb list. What I am opposed to is a rash list. What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Us Kids Know and Louie77 and other armchair, weekend listmakers in this administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in shitty posts and in boring threads.

Lists made by me have all been very thought out and completed! I agree that people who make random lists that no one cares about and end up never being finished need to be dealt with. But I was a forum in which people can openly express their views in list form without the oppression of bullies like yourself.

Your lists, louie77, have been nothing short of unmitigated failures. There was the ill-fated "summer ranking thread" which, contrary to what you stated, went without thought and sits unfinished. The rest of your threads have been quagmires, entrenching the brave, loyal citizens of Clubs That Suck for weeks, even months without any timetable for exit. It is not enough to have the idea for a list, it is not enough to merely rank them. Lists should be unique, exciting, and most importantly, valuable.

Your run of list threads cheapened the values that this forum built itself on; the value of the list thread SUNK on the foreign market. I will push for a stronger list thread (possibly tied to the gold standard for all you Ron Paul supporters out there!) and, ultimately, a stronger forum.
