Why do the announcers pronounce the name Jimenez with a th sound at the end? Hee-men-eth instead of Hee-men-ess. They do the same thing with Olazabal.
It's annoying the hell out of me and my Spanish-speaking ability.

In Spain, the z is pronounced with a "th".
Which is kind of funny because if you've ever heard a bunch of Spaniards together, they all sound like Cindy Brady with a lisp. |

You know the Tiger slurpage has reached epic proportions when the announcers are analyzing his fist pumps:
"He seems to be using the downward fist pump, as opposed to the uppercut fist pump he used to favor." I guess when the only other recognizable name on the leaderboard is Davis Love III, this is what we can expect. Tiger is 4 shots back of Rocco Mediate (3 shots back assuming he makes the short birdie putt coming up). But you might as well start engraving his name on the trophy now. |

I think people will look back at this tournament as the week that Tiger joined the elite group of all-time sports legends along with Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan,
